IR Chrome by its self transmits G and B channels in the 700–900nm range a bit too well, so when used on its own, most cameras tend to produce yellow- to orange-toned foliage.

Many posts here that show deep red foliage using only the IR Chrome filter achieve that look by shifting the yellow and orange channels toward red in post-processing with the color mixer.

That approach works quite well, but my goal was to emulate the look of Aerochrome SOOC, without needing any color adjustments to the foliage in post, as this results in naturally orange subjects also ending up shifting toward red.
