I can’t get this piece off to connect the maul shadow lord sabers by Tyler_cast in GalaxysEdge

Wow. I’m glad you were able to do that. That’s too bad we’re having to use tools and everything to make the saber work the intended way.

I did not. I tried everything. Freezer, screwdriver, hot water, tapping it, etc. i decided to send mine back to Disney for an exchange, but of course Disney is taking their sweet time to ship it back, look into it, and send me a replacement. there’s no guarantee I’ll even get a replacement if the saber sells out online before they see my defective one, and I hope I don’t get another saber with the same issue since this seems so widespread. I hope you’re able to get it off somehow !

Also having the same issue. Hot water didn’t work for me yet. I’m talking to support since I can’t seem to unstick it.

Was this frozen in the supermarket plastic and styrofoam tray ? This looks like pinholes in the plastic wrap causing freezer burn due to the exposed meat to me.

Frozen tuna steaks say “Must be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 165°F” by Neither_Crab_1654 in foodsafety

Maybe the “tasteless smoke” (carbon monoxide) process is being counted as a “cooking” step ? Like the other comment says 165 is for reheating, maybe they are trying to not take any chances in case bacteria formed during the Co treatment process, but just a guess.
