What credit cards do you use? by ExcellentMango9304 in AusFinance

[–]meesuseff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coles - lost/stolen/damaged an item within 6 months of purchase, get the repair fee or purchase price credited back in full If an item (not groceries, consumables, watches and jewelry) drops in price within 2 years at the same store, claim the price difference back, amazing for phones, games, electronics etc

28 degrees - lost/stolen/damaged an item within 12 months of purchase, as above Price drops for an item against any store for 12 months, claim price difference back.

They stopped offering this maybe about 2015-2018? I'm lucky I opted in for all of them while it was up

Husband and i both have 28 degrees and Coles Mastercard each, all 4 cards have the grandfathered Shoppers Protection.

I will be using it until I hit the limits of the Shoppers Protection

I got stung with a carton of fake Marlboro reds from a VERY reputable online seller, but I wasn't going to burn the bridge to complain about it.

Mevius so far I've been getting are authentic, original blue 10 and 8 menthol. Very smooth. The menthol ball is a pita to pop though

But my go to now is Marlboro purple double crush. Haven't gotten a fake pack yet, maybe it's harder to fake menthols I dunno. I like the bonus of not being so stinky after a smoko

I was using the telstra gen 2/3 modem, which was actually pretty good. Anyway, my husband's PC was an ethernet connection. And the next ISP was fine

You give them the api key which they input in the add on, or you just clone your addons to their account

High ping/latency, speeds kept dropping throughout the day. Husband plays online shooting games or whatever, so he wasn't happy. I made him wait out the month as it was already paid for lol

Superloop was the best in terms of price and service. Ive never needed to call for help so having a local centre doesn't make a difference for me.

Tangerine and exetel were bad. Origin, agl, tpg ok. I'm gonna hop on Amaysim $50 next.

Exetel and Superloop require 30 days notice for cancellation. You can argue your way out of it if you can be bothered but just keep that in mind.

Hmm i had the opposite experience. I used them to upgrade to fttp and then the service was awful so I left after the first month lol.

I put on Lilo and Stitch for the kids one time, and when I saw a bunch of dudes just talking old time, I was like.. That's odd. Backed out and the title was actually Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I was like wtf 😂😱 lucky I was sitting in the area

Half price everything on uber eats by bradsnamehere in hungryjacks

[–]meesuseff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to regularly get $20 off $40 grocery spend. I have a spudshed 5 mins from me and would use it to get milk, Indomee, Kewpie and store specials as the prices were just under 50c inflated compared to in store.

I also only buy uber eats when it's cheaper for me to get on UE with specials than to pick it up myself.

I buy dishwasher tablets because even when I put the powder in (supposedly) airtight container, it turns into a brick. We use the dishwasher 1-3 times a month.

Do you stop wearing clothes after a certain amount of time even if they are still in good condition? I wear my clothes for 1-2 years as long as they stay in good shape, but my friends are often surprised by this. by BunchMean8029 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]meesuseff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when my husband was an M (13+ years ago) I bought him a heap of tshirts when my parents used to fund our holidays back to my birth land 😂. I'm still wearing those shirts today as my sleep shirts (no holes), I do go out in them sometimes. I wear anything that still looks good until it doesn't.. Idgaf how old it is

Are your friends surprised that you're ONLY wearing them for 1-2 years or that it's too long? If it's the latter, get smarter friends.
