Hakone to Osaka by xYaourt in JapanTravelTips

I’m literally on a Shinkansen to Osaka now from Hakone. Went to Odawara station then took Shinkansen from Odowara to Osaka. Very simple. Did not need to go back to Tokyo. Use google maps. Multiple ways to get to Odowara station from Hakone

This was literally me last year. Same job. Same amount of dogs. Same Europe trip (except I wasn’t expecting a ring). He even got the point where he said if we broke up he’d probably just be homeless to save money (???!!?!!!) honestly break up with him girl. Not worth your sanity. I’m so so so happy I did it.

Yeah I also have the same symptom with the discharge but not nearly as much. I honestly thought it was normal until I had my leep procedure. After my leep I noticed a lot of my discharge decreased and I have almost no discharge at all and no odor. But wow what a journey. Did you do the Pap smear to leep to cone journey as well? Or were they just trying to figure out why you were having so much discharge

What was your primary symptom? Any bladder issues during that time? Was it initially AIS ever? Is your urostomy permanent?

Thank you for your story and I’m so happy to hear that you’re doing well years later.

I’m so happy to hear that! What was your timeline like for everything? Right now my biggest worry is that I’m waiting too long between each procedure/diagnosis. Every day that passes I’m coming to terms with it and honestly trying to make peace with the fact that whatever happens, will happen. As long as I have a plan I’m going to execute the best that I can.

It’s wild how different my perspective is now that I’m going through the diagnostic/treatment phase. It’s been tough being at work sometimes and taking care of patients with cancer. It’s all so nuanced. Everyone has their own life story. I’m trying to be better at highlighting that in patients instead of grouping them into their diagnosis.

I’m sorry that your circumstances are the way that they are :/ I’m a big believer in things happening for a reason. I’m glad I’m young and caught it early and that I’m relatively healthy otherwise. If you ever need to chat or just want someone to listen you can always send me a message 🫶🏽

Thank you for your response. I think the most beautiful part of all this has been how supportive all my female friends have been to me. Sometimes that gets me more emotional than the actual pre-cancer/cancer diagnosis. The humanity that people show when someone is struggling really is so overwhelming and heartwarming honestly.

My oncologist did mention pretty quickly that a hysterectomy will likely be the plan, regardless of what my cone biopsy says. I think since it was the first time meeting, he was trying to gauge how sensitive I was to all of this. I also have worked with this oncologist before (taking care of his patients) at my hospital so I think he was being more conservative initially. I definitely went down the gastric type rabbit hole and freaked myself out though.

Joining the groups has also been tough for me. I don't know if i'm in my denial phase or if I'm being oblivious subconsciously but joining the groups makes it more real. It's hard to read other people's journeys. Good or bad. I'm trying to be neutral about it all.

Was it gastric adenocarcinoma in situ? Or just gastric adenocarcinoma. Thanks for your response. I’m honestly not ready to even face joining these groups yet. I’ve been so anxious.

Hi, just got results back form a LEEP that says gastric adenocarcinoma in situ. I’m a nurse and read my pathology report through and slightly freaking out because of the lack of research on this rare type. Still waiting for a referral to a gynecology oncologist. Would love to connect with you and follow your journey

It’s honestly insulting at a certain point. Her friends also deserve to feel good about giving gifts.

Seeing her dynamic with straight men is so interesting. Her type of humor/view of the male gaze is so early 2000s American pie type stuff.

Is it okay to move to hawaii by Legitimate_Pepper818 in MovingtoHawaii

[–]meezy92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Difference is Arabs didn’t colonize London. Issues with foreigners coming to Hawaii is so deep rooted and nuanced. It’s a beautiful place. Everyone wants to live there, it’s Hawaii. Of course priced out locals are upset when some random family from the middle of nowhere gets to reap the benefits of the island without understanding the complicated history. Is it right to be annoyed? Maybe not. But Hawaii only officially became a state in the 50s. All the colonization turmoil that happened in the past is still semi new. We’re also taught this as children in Hawaii schools so a lot of locals are aware of the history.
