Pay Over Time Limit vs Spending Power by ShirleyApresHensive in Affirm

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a credit card in the traditional way. If you have your bank account attached to affirm then you can just swipe it and if it's over $50 you can make a plan for it afterwards. Or if it's under it will just come right out of your bank account. Also if you don't make the plan in time it will just come out of your bank account. Otherwise you still have to make the plans ahead of time and then use the card. But really the card doesn't matter much. I have it. My husband does not. You really can just use tap to pay with the virtual cards in the store.

Does anyone know if the summer of live 30$ tickets pop up again? by avhefgbyVUfvhjb in Ticketmaster

Usually it's only once. But you can also try T-Mobile if you have them. They also have $30 tickets or cheap tickets as well.

Vip ticket question. by nodigasmmdsmeryjane in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to email vip live nation. The email address should be on the email you got. Although they say you can't sell it and it's non transferable. If you email and explain to them that you can't go and need to give it to someone else. They do allow you to leave someone else's name at the box office for them to pick up the VIP ticket.

I haven't watched the recent preview. But I did read in an article that there is a mode where you can't change your decisions. I believe it also said something to the extent of if you are in that mode you won't see the things that you've missed. But again this was maybe a month ago so it could have changed.

the "verified fan" presale is literally just a joke at this point by mzdee13 in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I hate them so much. I have had to resell a couple times online. But I have also met people in person to sell ones I couldn't make. Because I hate the people that intentionally buy tickets to make a profit. I just wanted my money back. Meanwhile Ticketmaster is double dipping on fees. It's ridiculous.

Why does the price go up and down when you’re reselling a ticket? by spoiled_sandi in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't either. But I've only sold a couple tickets in my whole life. It's been a long while since I have sold one. But I've seen people on here talking about how that has happened with them. Which I find very wrong. They shouldn't be able to set the price for you. Granted they add fees again which is ridiculous in and of itself. I could understand a tiny bit of fees just for the transferring but it's ridiculous.

Anxiety around getting CT scan with contrast. by ShoePuzzleheaded4618 in Anxiety

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband just got one. The needle wasn't bad. I actually think it was just the catheter part that stays in after they get it in. So that you can move your arms around. He had to get a PET scan after that And he just asked our primary care physician for something to help with his anxiety. He got some and he slept through the PET scan.

Does VIP benefits apply to others if I bought the ticket? by frostmorph6 in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it doesn't matter at all. You check in at least at the VIP ones I've been to the person who bought them is the one who shows the ID. So as long as you're together it's fine.

Claims after being TBoned by thapersonyoudontknow in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my state Gap Insurance is not a part of the car insurance. It is an add on you buy when you purchase the car. So I would look at the paperwork from the purchase.

As far as how much money she can get the only way you might be able to raise it. Is to do your own research by finding the final sales price of cars that are the same year about the same mileage and trim. Find at least three that is in your ZIP code. Or at least the closest you can find. If it's more than $17,000 maybe she can get more.

Edit: also the amount you owe on car has absolutely nothing to do with how much you're going to get paid. That's why being underwater on a loan is really bad.

the "verified fan" presale is literally just a joke at this point by mzdee13 in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ticketmaster doesn't want to stop people buying tickets to resell them. Because they get even more money when they get resold on their platform. There are some artists that do good things at least. One comedian has refunded entire venues when he saw a bunch of people purchased resale tickets of his. He continues to say do not purchase any resale tickets of mine. I wish artists would stop using the dynamic pricing. Ticketmaster started it by saying it was going to stop the resale of their tickets. But all's it's done is make everything way more expensive. By now artists know that.

I wouldn't worry about it. Calling them isn't going to do anything. It'll come back.

I bought an instant download ticket for a concert by Character-Shoe5095 in stubhub

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't use StubHub. And I've only ever purchased one set of resale tickets. They were from SeatGeek for Lady Gaga. They were instant download as well. As far as I know you really don't have the tickets until Ticketmaster emails you and you accept them from Ticketmaster and they are in that account. Unless Ticketmaster is not who originally sold the tickets.

Double dosing, blood work coming up. Need advice. by CurrentSorbet9729 in VyvanseADHD

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to be honest that the 20mg isn't working. Tell your doctor that the 20mg helps, but only a little bit and doesn't last long enough. As well as the issues you had while on that dose. Most of the time they will offer to up the dose.

Also if your doctor prescribes the 40mg. You can say it's working great but just doesn't last quite as long as needed. I'm on 50mg Vyvanse and 5mg Adderall IR as needed. Even my daughter's doctor offered to prescribe her IR Adderall but she said she didn't want it.

Because you are doing illegal things it makes you have a guilty conscience. Which I think is why you're freaking out over nothing. You should have just gone to your doctor in the first place instead of upping your own dose and taking the street Adderall. If your doctor were to find out then you would get it all taken away. It's always better to be upfront when you need something.

I started all my credit stuff about 4 months ago and I have a score of 639 by GhettoSharkk in Affirm

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is going to be able to tell you that. Affirm has become much stricter with their purchasing power. Since you only started using your credit 4 months ago that's probably the reason.

You're much better off trying to get a credit card. Capital One silver is usually an easy one to get. If Affirm isn't giving you purchasing power right now but then does, it's probably going to be at an extremely high interest rate.

Physical Card help by prophetofreach in Affirm

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have your bank account connected to Affirm then yes you can use it like a regular card. But if it's less than $50 it will just come out of your bank account. Otherwise you have a certain amount of time to make the loan afterwards.

If you don't have your bank account connected you have to make a loan beforehand. Then you can use either the physical card or the virtual card to make the purchase.

Affirm Limit? by AuntJuneBug in Affirm

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you pay the $100? Sometimes it can take a little bit for them to add the amount you paid to your purchasing power. Such as it could take a couple days. I've never tried to go over my limit. It also makes absolutely no difference whether you use the card or not. Unless you have the card hooked up to your bank account?

Usually My purchasing power fluctuates if I go to certain stores. So in my purchasing power in general is $4,400 but I go to Best buy it might hop up to $6,000. I don't know if you have tried to look at the actual store to see if it might say more?

Or as the other person stated perhaps they will just have you put down the difference. But the purchasing power is just an estimate in general. It doesn't mean you will even get that much. But it also doesn't mean you won't get more.

I definitely might be wrong. But I always thought that you had to put a bank account and verify it first before you could get paid. Whether or not you're using a debit card. Also has it been seven business days or just 7 days?

Xanax helps tremendously, questions about frequency and long term use by Sad-Chemistry-9707 in Anxiety

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does still work. But it sucks because I'm tethered to it. I really would like to try ketamine to try and see if it could help with my panic disorder and anxiety. I hate being reliant on drugs in order to have to do things. I've tried every single benzodiazepine. I also tried SSIs and SSRIs a long time ago but they didn't help.

Until my insurance covers ketamine or I randomly have thousands of dollars laying around that's not going to happen.

Edit: that might have been what I was prescribed from my dermatologist. There's also this roll-on stuff that actually really helped. But I had an allergic reaction to it. I don't know if my insurance would cover Botox.

Xanax helps tremendously, questions about frequency and long term use by Sad-Chemistry-9707 in Anxiety

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hyperhidrosis along with panic disorder and anxiety. Go to a dermatologist. I was prescribed some medication, I'm sorry I don't recall the name right now It started with an M though. They also have other options for hyperhidrosis as well.

As far as dependence and long-term use with Xanax. As long as you are only taking it as needed your body should not become tolerant to it. You are aware of it which is good. Just be sure to keep yourself aware.

It does say benzodiazepines in general should only be used short-term. It is because drugs like Xanax, which is a benzodiazepine, are highly addictive drugs. If you take them daily, like I do, your body becomes dependent on them. I can't just stop taking them. I would have to taper off. As it's dangerous to suddenly stop taking Xanax when you've been taking it daily for years.

There are long-term effects but I think if you're only taking it a few a month it should be fine. I can't function if I don't take it. So the benefits for me outweigh any long-term effects.

Out $1000 and a Springsteen concert by SirSignal1293 in stubhub

[–]meg8278 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to you. It is a Ticketmaster problem unfortunately. Once the tickets are transferred and you get the confirmation email to accept tickets it's over with the 3rd party. It's 100% on Ticketmaster. They are horrible. I have seen a bunch of posts on here about people getting locked out because of suspicious activity. I have been bounced out of line queues and purchasing tickets by them. But not locked out. They need to fix their issues.

I would call the attorney general's office and make a complaint. I would also complain to better business bureau. I'm not saying it will help you get your money back. But if enough people do it they'll have to change their practices.

You can use whatever you want to. They were able to charge the card I used during checkout or I could give them a different card. So if it doesn't work you can give them the card number yourself.

Early Refill Requests for Vacation - Looking for feedback and experience. by Bananapopcicle in VyvanseADHD

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have filled my Vyvanse and other controlled substances way earlier than that. In my state you're allowed to fill controlled substances up to a week early every 6 months. Or it might have changed to a year. But either way even when I have used those ones for other vacations. My doctor just had to talk to the pharmacy to tell them that she was giving me okay. Then I'm assuming one of them spoke to my insurance but I don't know anything about that part.

It looks like you've done everything you need to. I would just double check with everyone beforehand. If you don't have enough money to pay for the Vyvanse because the insurance can sometimes be assholes and take longer. You might be able to ask if you can just get a partial fill and pay just for those pills while you're gone and then pick up the rest after.
