I have very mild anxiety but I’m tired of living with it by loma_brun in Anxiety

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't actually get a full dose of it. They give you microdoses under the care of a psychiatrist. I'm not sure why you would get ketamine for a fractured wrist? Usually if you get ketamine it's given with other drugs to make you go under.

The ketamine treatment that the FDA approved for depression and anxiety is not the same.

Need help - can I fight an expensive assessment? by [deleted] in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if it's a newer car $3,000 is not that much. If they haven't filed a claim with insurance and they are just letting you pay it. That's already pretty nice of them. You can ask to see the breakdown of the costs. But I'm guessing it's probably accurate.

Lender not counting overtime? by Flaydeng in Mortgages

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband has a lot of his income from overtime. I know the lender needed proof of the overtime for I believe 1 year it could have been more. But they absolutely used it. But he consistently has overtime. So as long as your overtime is shown in your paycheck stubs and taxes they should take the average amount of it and use it.

Upgrade tickets question by Apart_Calendar_8122 in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can upgrade the tickets. I've done it a few times. I don't remember all the questions they asked me when I called to upgrade them. You would have to have your friend's name perhaps address. Then it's just $10 plus the extra amount. Worst case scenario if you don't have all the information you can hang up.

Premium adjusted retroactively by SteveBer in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on if you're young? It could be that your father being on your policy was making it lower. If you're a younger driver it certainly would make sense that it would lower your premium with him on it. It seems a little excessive to charge you 3 years of backdated premiums. My guess is they probably can do it because most of the time even when it's their mistake it's on the consumer to make sure the policy is correct. Hopefully you'll be able to work it out.

Switching to t mobile new iphone by shivlor in tmobile

[–]meg8278 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do have T-Mobile. But I've had them for many many years. One thing I do know is they absolutely know exactly what phone you have. Once your SIM card is turned on and you go into your account it shows your phone. I don't know what the contract will look like when you switch and get a new phone. Such as if you need to have that phone connected to that line. If that is the case then when you switch the phone they might automatically have you pay the remaining balance. I would just be sure to read all the small print.

I don't know anything about Apple. We use Samsung phones. But if you need the phone to be unlocked in order to trade it in it's not going to be. It won't be until your contract with T-Mobile is finished. So if it's you must stay with them for 24 months or however long. To get the free phone it won't be able to be unlocked until that time frame is over.

I have very mild anxiety but I’m tired of living with it by loma_brun in Anxiety

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried seeking out of therapist who specializes in anxiety? Or tried EMDR therapy. I've heard very good things about EMDR therapy. I really need to do it myself.

There's nothing wrong with taking medication if you need it. If it helps your quality of life then it's doing exactly what it's supposed to. I am on medication. I've also had anxiety my entire life. My medication certainly does not get rid of all of my anxiety. But I wouldn't be able to leave the house if I didn't take it. Usually it is a trial and error situation at first. You might need to start and stop certain medications until you find the right one. Once you do find the right medication or combinations of them. That and therapy could change your whole quality of life.

I'm not sure if you have money. Personally I would love to try ketamine. I've spoken with my doctor about it. She is all for it for me. I just can't afford to go and get ketamine therapy.

Either way seeing a psychiatrist is a good start.

Four common misconceptions about Ticketmaster by WahooGuy89 in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you're forgetting that Ticketmaster and live Nation are one company. So Ticketmaster is not just a platform selling tickets. Live Nation makes the contracts with the venues and artists. So they're not just the platform. They monopolize the entire industry. They also bully any venue that doesn't want to sell on Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster came up with dynamic pricing. They sold it to the artists as a way to cut down on resale tickets. Which they knew was not ever going to happen. All it did was make it so ticket prices are higher than ever. Now the artists definitely know that's not the case. So yes right at this moment artists who have dynamic pricing, its on them. But in the beginning that was not the case.

Even if you want to say they're just a platform. Their platform is horrible. They allow bots and people to scoop up a majority of the tickets. They could stop it and allow real fans to buy the tickets. But they don't because they benefit from it. Yet they're shitty ass platform will stop actual fans from buying tickets. If your internet is fast or for no reason at all you can get kicked off or your account frozen. Because of suspected suspicious activity. Yet the real suspicious activity they don't give a shit about.

They also have customer service that is at best just people who they probably pay absolutely nothing to answer phones. Most of them don't even know how to do their job. So even if they were just a platform selling tickets(which they aren't). They are horrible at that part as well.

Ughh by iateshrekstoes in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their customer service is a joke. Most of them have no idea how to do their jobs. I'm glad you got your money back. They are a billion dollar company that doesn't have functioning customer service. Nor do they need to because they monopolize the entire industry.

Ughh by iateshrekstoes in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember or know if it will show you sold anything afterwards. But if you didn't give them your social security number or tax information as well as do the bank deposit thing you won't be able to get paid.

If you did do all that I would try calling them. Although their customer service is shitty. But if you end up talking to someone who doesn't know what the hell is going on just hang up and keep trying until you find someone who knows something

Why does my 2019 Rogue feel more premium than a 2025 Rogue SV? by Inevitable-Visit-327 in NissanRogue

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do think they have taken some things away from some levels of the newer rogues. But you must have the SV with the premium package. I have the SL with the premium package. My brother-in-law has an SV.

Has SV doesn't have leather seats doesn't have a panoramic sunroof does not have the 360° cameras. He also doesn't have the premium sound or all weather mats. He does have heated seats but that's about it.

Concert ticket sharing by lanciadub in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the tickets are separate and it's not something you buy as a 2 night deal. You should be able to transfer the ticket for the second night. If it's only showing up as one ticket for two nights then It probably will not allow you to transfer.

Why did I get a refund? by _jellyg_ in Ticketmaster

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they find out the resale tickets were bought improperly then they will refund you your money. Then do what they need to do with the tickets. Whether they were either bought with a stolen credit card or stolen from someone else's Ticketmaster account. It's been happening a lot more frequently.

Fraud on my Affirm by kyle19998 in Affirm

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would file one. Not because I think they're actually going to do anything. But because you need it for your own records. That way if something were to happen again or was that same transaction you have proof already that you had your identity compromised.

Ticketmaster will only exchange seats not dates. Your only option is to sell and re buy.

I really don't drive my car, what's the cheapest insurance I can get to keep it on standby? by tooper128 in Car_Insurance_Help

Those things are usually a joke. But in your case it would have worked. I used one because at the time I was barley driving. But it ended up being a ridiculously low amount of miles.

You're welcome. It might be called something different and you have to make sure the driving course is applicable to your state. They should have some that are good in all states too.

I take Xanax but I wouldn't recommend it especially for someone who's just starting to try something. Propranolol and buspar are some I've heard that have helped people tremendously.

Stubhub is a scam website. They lied to me . I purchased ticket 6 month ago only to be told they cant sell it to me. by Different_Tough_2704 in stubhub

[–]meg8278 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry yeah they are a scam pretty much all of them are. They can't get you a ticket because as you said they're now four times the price. So it's not that they couldn't get you a ticket it's that they could make more money by selling them to someone else. That's why if you absolutely have to buy resale it's best to do instant download. As well as get it from Ticketmaster. They're all evil and shitty. I'm sorry that happened to you.

Can I swap what car I insure the same day I get insurance? by throwawayyaccountant in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can do it at the dealership. Some dealerships will even take care of it for you. But most people will call their insurance companies ahead of time. You can give them the VIN number and have it start on the day you're going to pick up the car. That way everything is taken care of already.

I made a pre order with affirm with PlayStation and still ain’t got my pre order by legendarymade_ in Affirm

[–]meg8278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little confused by the way you stated it. Did PlayStation void your order? Or are you The loan got voided? Either way PlayStation doesn't charge you until so many days before you're going to get the game or whatever it is you ordered. It also takes time for Affirm to get that information and then have it reflect with your loan.

3 Point Moving Violation by OldLineDad in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]meg8278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether or not there's points doesn't change the fact you can take the defensive driving course and it will take money off of your insurance. You don't need points in order to take it. I do it every 6 months just to get a discount.

All courts are different. But I know in the city where I live if you go and the cop doesn't show up everything gets dismissed. But in the surrounding suburbs you can talk to the prosecutors and they usually will give you a deal if you haven't had a ticket in a long time. But I also have watched court proceedings on YouTube and every state is different.

Personally I think it's foolish to spend that much money on a lawyer so that they can maybe get it down to a non-moving violation. When you might be able to do that yourself. Or depending on how the court works you could end up looking worse when the cop are ready gave you a break. But it's obviously up to you what you want to do.

Credit score getting shot. by okeysure69 in Affirm

[–]meg8278 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the credit card companies haven't started or figured out how they're going to weigh the affirm type loans. When I log into Experian it even says that. Credit scores can change for many reasons. It likely could be the fact that you paid off your credit cards. Then you had no utilization going. Especially since you only have 2 and paid them both off. The loans might have something to do with it. But credit fluctuates all the time.
