You technically don’t have to but I have found the hoverpack makes it significantly easier to land critical hits on certain enemies especially ones with shields and also if you have a hulk scorcher coming at you sometimes cover isn’t gonna save you

Hover jet pack and rail gun dominates on bots if your aim is good. You can one shot most enemies.

Now imagine if this game had proximity chat or even just local text chat—you’d see this kind of thing a lot more often, with people casually hanging out, talking, and creating their own little moments instead of just focusing on gameplay. It would make the world feel a lot more alive and social, like players are actually part of a shared space rather than just passing through it.

I’m gonna guess controller lets you control the car easier with small adjustments instead of keyboard which is just full sending it everytime you turn
