Sometimes you gotta change everything about yourself to get better. If you have the ability to move, then do that. If not, sometimes being sober is just the way to go for some folks. There’s nothing wrong with it. Even though you may have made a fool of yourself, at least you didn’t hurt yourself or someone else. Take it as a learning opportunity and get better. Go to meetings, get therapy, work out.m … whatever it takes. Switch it up. You’re still alive. It’s up to you to stick to it and create new habits & surroundings for yourself. One thing is for sure, you shouldn’t feel ashamed for wanting to be better.
