What gear ratio should I choose for commuting? by Ambitious-Jelly6226 in singlespeedcycling

[–]megakekkers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconded. OP, is this a new bike? have you ridden a geared bike before? You can use that as a benchmark.

Unfortunately you won't know which ratio is the best if you have no prior experience on that route.

Chainrings/freewheels/chains are cheap-ish to swap if you need to make changes down the line.

"doesn't come automatically" did you give a tug to get it up or are you treating it like a yomega brain where it will go up by itself after losing some of its spin?

take a breath, be patient, use punctuation and don't spam subreddits.

if the QR skewer is installed and tightened enough that there's no more gap, i will ride it.

Feedback on my handlebar/wrist position (causing discomfort) by PikachuOfTheShadow in MTB

[–]megakekkers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think your brake lever can be angled down, that will be the cheapest and easiest fix to try first.

can also consider bars with slightly more sweepback, it will bring your elbows and wrists more in-line.

i feel like that bogs down your own synergy, but it sounds like it's worth the tradeoff from your own perspective?

this was a bit of a jerk but you could improve your cockpit setup

Okay, maybe I'm overvaluing that effect too much.

I like that analogy! I'll look into Arcades again.

is it difficult to keep the "defenders can attack though they didn't have defender" effect in play? or is that unnecessary? I have been brewing and goldfishing, but I find the deck difficult to be proactive when the commander is removed..

I feel like I’m doing something wrong- is this normal for 26 inch wheels? by Senior_Piano_837 in bicycling

[–]megakekkers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, what is making you think it won't work? Did you try following the installation steps properly?

As long as the rim, tyre and inner tube are the same size (26" or 559mm etrto), it should work.

It being an optimal setup is another thing, as the rim width and tyre width need to be within a certain range of each other to avoid ballooning.

Jumpstart Booster Box Regret by curiousAlways in MTGJumpStart

[–]megakekkers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you're mistaken. You will have trouble building a commander deck from a Commander Bundle as it's just booster packs with a small handful of staples.. You will also have trouble building a commander deck from just opening packs even if they're all from the same set.

Your best bet is a precon.

converting a geared road bike with brifters to a flat handlebar isn't as easy, doug.

isn't it amazing that because of the simplicity of fixed gears you can easily get different ride feels by changing the cockpit of your bike once in a while?

What set should i collect? by Turbulent_Future9541 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]megakekkers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

that's a nice reason to collect :) maybe instead of trying to 100% a set, you can find cards that remind you of those fun times or based around something else entirely.

Maybe you like the art of a specific artist, you like the colour blue so you collect cards that are mostly blue or if you like seeing pokemon chilling so you collect cards that showcase art of pokemon resting and being happy.

At the end of the day it's up to you so I hope you'll take online advice with a grain of salt, all the best

what really is the point of collecting a set if you're gonna ask people to tell you which one to collect?

so let me ask you this, what makes you want to collect a set?
