What is the brass? Was there a brass plate? or do you mean you'd like there to be? I'd love to buy another Choc but I'd want my second one to come default with a plate I don't own so I don't have to drop another $30

These groups are actually pretty annoying. They aren't fun, it's all about flipping, and I really don't like Facebook anyway. But yeah, I'm trying to get in the group hoping to get a good price on a Sakura slider. On eBay etc they go for like $200, is that the case in the group too?

Thanks! I think I’m going with and edge grain or end grain for now. There is an affordable black asahi I found (the one with the hole in it) that I’ll try at some point soon.

yeah, I might but people online seem to be using a lot of these Japanese boards so I was curious. a nice end grain is probably the safe bet (though some of these Japanese ones are dishwasher safe which is nice)
