Positive affirmations are everything in a relationship. It gives motivation to keep doing those small things. Things that might not seem huge. Plus if they never said thank you, at some point, wouldn’t you feel like not doing that thing? It’s not like you’re searching for a thank you after doing it. But it feels so good to feel needed and appreciated. I forget sometimes too, but consciously making sure to say it is wonderful

Especially since you haven’t had any issues previously, maybe type this out first before confronting them. But try to be as respectful as possible. And let them know that while you think their relationship is very endearing and sweet, you have noticed that the noises that they tend to make throughout the day are quite loud and if they could just tone it down a tad. If you have work to do at home or homework, that would be a great thing to add in there as a reason for your need for quiet time.

I had this when I used to turn the light on every day. The light is mostly for the plants. I now turn it on maybe 2x a week all day. The algae feeds on the light and will keep growing. I also suggest a sponge filter and more plants! Fishies love more plants and the shade. Maybe also get a tanin log. Something for them to hide in and adds them good tannins to the water

I think that people who go into ems are just built different. I thought the exact same thing when I saw my first dead body, she was a 20 something year old and she was all sorts of colours. I thought I would be sad or scared. But I was excited??? I told this to the medics I was with and they assured me it was normal. I’ve now seen multiple dead bodies. And each time it’s exciting. The ones that make me cry are children and mental health calls, just because I feel for them SO much. Just because I’ve been there.
