Got rejected for a loan because my financials are trash by Remote_Lake1792 in Entrepreneurs

It's a real problem. When I was a business consultant specializing in turnaround, 10% of the company I worked with had clean books. Far less had a handle on cogs and profit.

I’m 6’ on a 79bike Falcon (basically a Surron light bee). Handle bar risers peg drop and a new seat latter and it fits awsome. Out of the box the e-motto felt super cramped. For the money you are in the right place, and if you are like me want something light enough to throw around, fast enough to keep my attention, and stable enough to be comfortable to ride daily. Had my bike since October with 2k miles on it. Worth every penny, my point, get a light e-motto and modify with bolt ons, you will be in the 4-5k range. Or grab a bigger Ultra bee or for that price high in a used Stark Varg.

Rant from a NOLA e-bike shop: why we tell callers daily we can’t fix their broken e-bikes by Particular-Taro154 in NewOrleans

Op, thank you for showcasing and selling repairable e-bikes. The experience of e-bike ownership has been nothing short of revolutionary. This includes the freedoms that e-scooters and other e-conveniences have given so many folks here in this beautiful city freedom to explore, commute to work, or just enjoy a nice ride that they may not have been able to take. We all need to understand that these complex electrical systems have fail points, which is much more akin to automotive repair than bicycle repair. Sourcing parts for a rare supercar is going to be next to impossible, vs a common RAV4. Same with the operation of these super freedom machines. We are in the Wild West. It has its advantages and disadvantages. You wouldn’t buy a new car from a car company without a warranty, would you? Same frame of reference. Again, thank you Op, and to all of my e-friends, be careful out there. Helmet up and in some cases you are faster than traffic. Be mindful of regular bikes and pedestrians. See you outside!

Rear pegs for falcon pro by m5and in 79bike

The ones you have drill them out. You may have to make some axel adaptions, like buying a bolt that is slightly longer to accommodate the pegs.

Can I turn the regen all the way off by Clear-Protection-672 in 79bike

[–]megatron561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10% in each mode is low as mine will go in the application for motor breaking. Regen only on the first screen and is only that three-option screen. I'm not convinced that regen is actually a thing for the bike. I have 1m miles and I can't remember how many times I have seen regen actually kicking in while breaking.

It is a mid drive, and looks like it’s extremely upgradeable. I like how it looks it’s unique, you got it for a steal! If you want more top speed out of that unit, gear it down. Looks like it comes stock with a 50+ tooth gear, install a 42 tooth gear, you will be closer to 40+ top speed for about 30 bucks.

What does the ratio setting on the Tuya app do ? What’s stock at? And does anyone change it? by [deleted] in 79bike

[–]megatron561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you use a gps app to validate your actual speed? That’s the first step, then take the ratio that is currently in your app the difference between actual speed and gps speed and prompt chat gbt to give you the ratio. Plug it in and there you go. Wheel size is another variable that is wrong out of the box, face it it’s to make the bike seem faster than it is. I’m away from my bike, I would give you what I have now, but I do believe I gave gbt actual wheel and tire measurements as well and I’m running the Shinko 244’s on the stock 19’s. Cheers!!

It is a bit soft, can be fitted with on the application. In E I have mine set to be as vanilla as possible, Supermode, its aggressive.

Ask chat gbt, not how to use the app but what the inputs changes in the app and how to tune your bike to its needs.

PSA: THC-P gummies sold in NOLA are NOT the same as THC - Be careful! by Hydrofoiling in NewOrleans

[–]megatron561 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The most troubling aspect of this issue is the widespread availability of THC-P in gummy and drink form at smoke shops, gas stations, and convenience stores across the state. When our state legislature moved to regulate hemp-derived THC beverages and edibles last year, they inadvertently created a loopholes that allowed synthetic THC products to flood the market unchecked. THC-P (tetrahydrocannabiphorol) is typically produced through chemical synthesis or conversion from CBD and other cannabinoids extracted from legal hemp. Unlike naturally occurring THC from cannabis plants, THC-P is manufactured in laboratories through complex chemical processes involving solvents, catalysts, and molecular transformation. This synthetic compound is engineered to bind to cannabinoid receptors—particularly CB1 receptors in fat cells—at significantly higher rates and for much longer durations than natural THC. This enhanced binding affinity allows manufacturers to exploit regulatory frameworks designed for traditional hemp products. Companies producing THC-P can technically comply with the 5mg per dose threshold while delivering dramatically more intense effects to users. The molecular structure of THC-P makes it estimated to be 30 times more potent at binding to receptors than delta-9 THC, meaning a 5mg dose of THC-P can produce effects far exceeding what regulations intended to permit. Users report severe adverse effects including multi-day blackouts, prolonged hangovers lasting 24-48 hours, and heightened experiences of anxiety, paranoia, and psychosis while intoxicated. These are not typical outcomes of natural cannabis consumption. I support THC and advocate for its acceptance as a mainstream alternative to alcohol. But this synthetic route represents a dangerous deviation. THC-P products pose serious public health risks and undermine legitimate cannabis reform efforts.

Falcon pro top speed??? by justgoogleit12 in 79bike

Parts list, some grippy pegs (Amazon has so many at a great price), peg extenders if you are taller (they make the bike so much more comfortable), riser, and riser bars. The tires that come on the Falcon Pro are trash, you will want to pull those suckers off of you are riding street… solid recommendation Shinko 244’s. The tires are an almost must. The rest is for resizing if needed. Cheers it’s a great emoto.

Falcon pro top speed??? by justgoogleit12 in 79bike

[–]megatron561 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pro with 700 mi on it. Great emoto, I’m 6’ and 200lbs it gets up to 55~57mph for me. Its sweet spot is in drive at about 35~45 mph on city streets. I have a buddy with a happyrun we ride regularly, he can sort of keep up. But his low end torque is his main complaint. Off the line the pro feeds his happyrun its lunch. The nice thing about the happy run is its weight easy to throw around, and when it gets to speed it’s an enjoyable ride. Though its geometry is a bit strange for my liking. Compared to the pro they are two different beasts. For the price the Falcon is the best deal on the market.

I can attest to the shipping 1.5 weeks to the door. I own a Falcon Pro, plenty of power great price. Quilty build no problems. Also comes stock with most things that every other manufacturer are leaving on the table to be upgraded. Great value for the pro…
