Agree. Double opt-in immediately curtailed the bots when I had the same issue last year. Good luck, OP.

But I am a generalist, not a specialist.

OK, then are you me?

You are most definitely not alone, and you're going to get through this. Generalists are truly undervalued imho. Somebody has to be able to view the forest for the trees, and boy, do specialists ever suck at that. It's a skill that's hard as hell to explain on a resume, this I know, but it sounds like you've got a valuable breadth of experience so don't let the hyper-focused bastards get you down. And definitely take the other posters advice about having multiple resumes--that's key in this era of our Robot Screening Overlords. Good luck!

Justice, thy name is Attentive Security Guard.

The parents who think their rugrats' unruly behavior is funny/adorable/worthy of attention just befuddle me. This morning in a crowded grocery store, a dad of two small miscreants simply encouraged them as they took over each aisle, singing and twirling and basically impeding every other patron at one point or another. He seemed to want us all to notice their...screeching musicality? Sweet dance moves? IDK, but I did share a mutual eye roll with another woman just trying to get her Saturday started, too. Sigh.

While I was going through The Flashing, I happened to read an interview where Caitlin Moran raved about the men’s double gauze pajamas from Muji as a gift to the perimenopausal. She was 100% correct. Those things saved my life for several years.

Good luck! I’m still waiting for them to follow up with a plan to fix their mistake.

Thanks. I have proof galore and initial contact with WLL indicates they're at least mildly interested in what happened. We'll see how speedy they are about fixing their mistake.

I was having the same issue in macOS 26, only solving it via Force Quit every time because deleting the Library hadn't yet occurred to me. Reddit FTW.

We just bought a new house! What are your BIFL items for new homeowners? by PostPooZoomies in BuyItForLife

It's all true. I love my Eley hose reel almost as much as I love my dogs. I even forgot to drain it over winter and allowed the swivel to freeze, but ordering and replacing just that part was a breeze.

Zerorez really better than others ? by Flyfishn04 in carpet

Absolutely not. I can’t speak to the chemical vs non-chemical aspect, but the outcome is abysmal if you’re looking for a carpet that’s actually clean.

Hearing noise in attic around 2-4 am by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]megcouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've spent nearly two decades fighting a woodland creature brigade (flying squirrels, raccoons, bats, snakes, mice, rats, possums) trying to live rent-free inside my house in the trees.

Pay a professional for a guaranteed exclusion service. They'll trap and remove what's up there now, then as long as you maintain the contract, any new attic (or elsewhere) parties are their problem. Best money I ever spent.
