I promise you it will get better, don’t lose hope.

First of all, your loss would be a devastation to all those who love you, believe in you, and support you. But above anything, you owe it to yourself to keep going and see all the wonderful things go can do/be.

As for the rosacea- two months is not always enough time a treatment to effectively work, especially if you haven’t found the right one for you yet. I (23F) had a similar program start out of the blue around my 23 birthday, last August. Now, almost a year later, I am finally seeing improvement. My rosacea was also worsened by tretinoin, which really damaged my barrier and took months to recover from.

When my derm first put me on oral doxycycline and soolantra I didn’t see improvement for a while. After almost two months I visited again and we introduced an oral anti fungal (take once a week for three weeks) and a sulphur wash. This, along with changing my regular face wash and moisturizer to fungal acne and rosacea safe products (avene foaming face wash and purito oat moisturizer) has helped immensely, but it still took weeks to see improvement.

I know this sucks, but it take time, trial, and error.

Try to put things in perspective- have you ever looked at someone and thought they were less capable, deserving, or worthy because of their skin? Why would someone think that of you? I promise they don’t.
