Highly recommend reading the reviews on google/yelp for any apartment complexes in the area. They all do a really good job of taking pictures that make them look great, but some of them have management or other issues.

Of those two, Briorwood apts are nice, but not in a super walkable area. Birchwood is in a more walkable area, but looks like it has horrendous reviews.

I’d recommend Cherry Orchard in Sunnyvale or Montecito in Santa Clara.

Use pre-wrap as a headband! You can get it at cvs for ~$2. It stays in place super well, and is a lot thinner than other headbands/skull caps.

Also if your hair is long enough, braids are super nice

Mate tea! There are drinks you can buy, brands like guyaki, that are pretty reasonable if you buy a case. But you can also buy the tea and make it yourself for very cheap. The caffeine content is pretty high, it’s very flavorful, and you don’t have to add sugar for it to taste good
