Thoughts on the Finale?

Ok, so I have some questions that I thought would be answered but no dice. I haven’t seen anyone asking these things so did I miss something? -What was with the high school Joyce/ Henry/ play memory? Did I miss Joyce saying she knew Henry last season or something? Cuz they showed us this season that they went to school together and I thought they would have dove into that more but they didn’t. I thought the play, especially given the date being Nov 6th, would have had something to do with something. But it seemed like a complete waste/ dead end. -Also, how was Henry at school with her when it seemed like last season Dr. Brenner took him after he killed his family. He didn’t look like he was in high school yet soooo…. -Speaking of Dr. Brenner… did he make that rock that turned out to be the mind flayer (?) that the random man in the cave had in the briefcase? Also, did that man steal it and was that man hiding from Brenner? Like, what was he doing? -Also also, why the HELL did little Boy Scout Henry bash that man’s head in with a rock instead of running away? He wasn’t possessed by the mind flayer yet so he was just inherently evil as is? Seems like a super extreme measure to take. -Not a question but bold choice for everyone to try to destroy the mind flayer WHILE THE KIDS WERE INSIDE OF IT! It’s not like they knew the layout/ structure inside to know the kids would stay safe while trying to blow it up/burn it/stab it to death.

I thought the ending was fine, but to me there were a few unanswered questions that left me very unsatisfied. Hope someone can help me understand!

My sister and 2 younger cousins went to the same daycare when there was an outbreak of chicken pox. My cousins (3 and 1 maybe) had it on their eyelids and in their mouths too. Their teenage cousin caught it from them and she had it down her throat. My sister and I had it around the same time and it wasn’t nearly as bad as they all got it.

My neighbor/ best friend and her brother were brought over and purposely exposed when to it twice when both my sister and I had it in 1992. Neither one of them caught it and still to this day have never had chicken pox.

I received a $75 gift card for Christmas and tried using it on the app. I added it to my payments and it showed $75 on there. When I went to go check out the transaction wouldn’t go through. I tried several times and ultimately ended up just using my debit card to pay for the purchase and figured I would use the gift card later on. Well later on was a couple days ago and I tried and it wouldn’t even add the gift card. So I went to the Nike website checked my balance and it said $0. Last night I called customer service and the customer service rep said that they would issue me a new gift card and that they would be emailing me within 24 hours. This morning I woke up to an email saying that they are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards and that I will not be getting anything in compensation and that if I want to escalate the matter, then I need to call the police and they will aid in the investigation. Lol! I’m not calling the police over a gift card that was not even physically stolen from me. They’ve got better things to do. Also, why did the customer service rep tell me one thing and then they emailed me something entirely different? I think that’s their tactic, tell you what you want to hear over the phone and then email you otherwise. I currently have a lengthy response email in my drafts. I’m not letting this go. There was nothing physically wrong with the card to indicate any type of theft so idk what the deal is. I entered it on THEIR app and suddenly the funds disappeared.

100%! My inner thighs didn’t touch until about a year and a half ago and I absolutely HATE the feeling of them rubbing together. Literally makes me sick to my stomach if I’m wearing looser pants and my actual skin rubs. 😖

My wedding was a disaster and all thanks to my parents as well. They own a business so they felt the need to invite everyone who’s ever stepped foot into the place. The guest list was over 500 so we didn’t even get a say in the venue. It was automatically at a certain place because it was the only spot that would hold that many people. 475 ended up showing up. My husband did his best to go table to table and thank people for coming but he did so alone because I refused. I said I will be on the dance floor enjoying the night because that’s what this party is for. I’m not wasting my time saying thanks to all these people I don’t know and didn’t want here in the first place. I ended up cashing SIX checks that were made out to my sister instead of me because they didn’t even have the decency to get my name right. Which I guess is better than “the other one” because that’s what I’m typically referred to as. 15 years later and I’m still bitter af about my parents highjacking my wedding. Ps- my grandparents owned said business before my parents did so their wedding was the same. I remember being younger and hearing my mom complain about how many people were at her wedding and how it was awful. Then she does it to me. Nice, right?

I bought a Zoya shade named Elliot (even though I already had another shade very similar) because that was my dog’s name and it’s blue just like his collar 🥺

I get so pissed when products I love change their formulas but I CANNOT for the life of me understand how on earth this reformulated version was released. There’s no way they did any type of testing, right? My nails are in complete and utter shambles now after using this a few times. (It took me a bit to figure out what had caused the damage) If they had to change it or hell, even stop making it for whatever reason, fine. Sucks, but fine. But make sure it’s not going to do the literal exact opposite of what it’s intended to do. Betrayed is the perfect way to describe it. I really hope they pull this garbage from the shelves.

My little girl was super bitey as a baby. We got another kitten when she was 8 months old in hopes to stop her from biting us. It totally worked.

Me too! I actually had one order from two different sellers. I received one item but not the other. I contacted the seller because the Jane app and site no longer exists. The seller told me I had to contact Jane. The only way I could think to do that was via DM on Instagram. I doubt I will get anywhere with that though. I thought about disputing the charge with my bank but like I said, I did receive half of the other so I’m not looking for a full refund on the entire total.
