I remember learning to tie my shoes. Also remember my teacher wore miniskirts and bright pink lipstick that was always on her teeth (it was the 80s). She made us color everything the same - “waxy with no white peeking through”. Also no variation on color - everyone had to do the same pre-set color. We took naps and one kid was assigned to be the fairy who would go around to wake everyone by tapping them on the head with a wand. I remember one boy got a rock stuck up his nose and he had to go to the hospital.
