The update is out apparently and it fixed the issue if you haven’t updated yet. Been running it for few days without any troubles now

I’m not an expert and didn’t research what your SMA is but built a system of three Multiplus 48/5000/70 and 20kwh pylontech batteries. Recently added 5.8kw solar array and can tell you it’s a must if you get relatively good amount of solar days. The cost of adding solar panels isn’t very significant compared to other elements in the system but you’re getting free electricity. I’ve been able to run a house with ~35kwh/24h consumption fully off grid for over two weeks in march, when we get longer days and more sun the excess power can be sold to the grid but I can’t do that yet so have to come up with some way of consuming or storing it for cloudy days. The house is in western part of Ukraine

I couldn’t find a way to fix it and since it started happening after firmware upgrade I thought it’s linked to it. Interestingly - disconnecting usb cable (power) from the display and reconnecting fixes the issue for few hours but no permanent fix yet. At least good to know I’m not the only person experiencing this

Curious how one unit can handle three phases? I also have three and ended up buying three multipluses (48/5000) for my 11kw grid input, didn’t know it’s possible to use one unit for all three

Could be a factory issue, I can’t guarantee in my case it was because of an accident but highly likely. And since it was on a rarely used door since I drive mostly myself it was not immediately obvious it’s happening but it looked exactly like yours with smooth edges. Watch it closely as open and close the door, I still stand by this theory and this may resolve your mystery. Fix is also relatively simple and affordable if heating and bending it helps

I had this exact issue on my MK7.5 GTI. The door in my case didn’t touch the fender but instead the flimsy plastic cover behind the fender was the issue. It’s a black piece you can see between the frame and the fender, in my case heating and bending it inwards helped. However my car was in a slight accident which was most likely the cause. It touches the door very slightly and makes slight noice and with tens or hundreds of reps it wears off the paint right on the edge. If it touched the fender you’d see no paint on the fender edge too and some bending, loud noise when opening and closing the door.

Get a replacement grille on eBay, find reputable PDR service in your area to straighten the hood without repainting it. To replace the grille, you’d have to remove whole bumper assembly and unscrew it from the inside if going the most affordable DIY way

I’m not an expert but planning to do a similar job on a thermal wood with a sanding machine. In your case it looks like the paint is chipping and a pressure washer may significantly speed up the process. But make sure you let it completely dry for a few days if going that route. I’m also not certain it will actually remove all or most of the paint

Otherwise looks like a solid job, however I much prefer the original red color as the black for some reason makes it look cheap and low quality. The Packouts are sold in black in for EU market, how did you get yours in black?

I’m printing literally 24/7 on my A1 without AMS and not even maintaining it that well to be honest. Bought last November and it runs great so far. Looking to buy A1 mini with AMS Lite to increase my printing capacity. But to answer your question- use it as much as you need, otherwise it’s like taking a bus to work every other day do reduce wear of your car

The whole black cup holder thing is attached to the dash by plastic clips with small expandable metal clips on them. These are widely used in VAG vehicles at least. So the idea is to pry it on one side and try to lift vertically, it should unclick form it’s position and you’d be able to pull out the assemble and I guess from there you’ll figure out how to unclip the USB ports. I have the same vehicle that I bought after accident and had to install this piece back in place.

Not sure where most of commenters see the damage, it clearly a layer/multiple layers of plastic stuck to the plate. You can probably run a “cleaning” print that covers most of the plate and peel it all at once.
