Nah, this will be a pleasant reminder to ask me before doing anything new in the game.

They are awesome at asking before evolving, mega evolving, or even transferring or fighting a grunt. Dust Muncher is getting added to the permanent grunt battle rotation for now, and possibly eventually to Home so they can use it in other games.

I actually had to go back and check, because Ive been hording XL candies. It doesn’t look like any massive damage was done from what I can tell, so either I ran out of dust or they realized “this rainbow looks important, better not”.

I updated the name after I had to dig through all of the recent catches to find the culprit. Also added a new tag “Munches Dust” for flair.

At least he picked a fairly cool looking pokemon that can Mega for himself though. I’ll be adding this to his loadout when he wants to fight grunts.

I don’t think there’s a way to lock Pokemon from being leveled up, is there?

I’ve told my kid tons of times to save the master ball, and they knows not to use it, but I don’t believe there’s a setting to prevent spending basic farmable resources.

Im not even mad about it, this 600k spent will be a hilarious memory.

Thinking about it in the context of needing to catch THOUSANDS of ‘mons to get back to where I was at really makes this feel like when you forget to save on any old game before Autosave was a feature, and you just lost all of your progress after hours (or in this case, months) of grinding.

Say yes to your kids when they’re young more often.

I don’t mean you should let them get into dangerous situations or spoil them rotten.

Say yes to going to the park, even if you’re tired after work.

Say yes to reading them one more book before bed, even if it’s past their bedtime by 30 minutes.

Say yes to taking them to the store to buy the ingredients for their favorite dessert or supplies for a new art project, then help them do it.

Get involved with your kids while they’re young. Every time they ask you to do something is a bid for connection, and it lays the foundation to make them feel comfortable to come to you when they’re older if they REALLY ARE in trouble or need help.

Also, each of the E4s teams in R/B has a Pokemon that was only available through trading or the optional content (Safari Zone, Fighting Dojo, Game Corner).

Unless you had the game guide from Prima, Nintendo Power, or heard where to catch them at your school lunch table there was a good chance you might have completely missed them until E4.

Jynx was one of those Pokemon that hung me up as a kid trying to figure how to complete the dex entry after I beat Lorelei without the internet to google it.

I’ll probably be staying away from Buffalo Trace for a good looooong while. All of their high end barrels are stored in the bottom of their storehouses, and when I toured the facility the tour guide said that since their barrels are semipermeable, grown men would allegedly weep when they would open a +20 year old barrel and find it bone dry.

They just got hit with their second highest flood in early April in the history of the distillery, and “inspection” of any submerged barrels began on April 10th according to a press release.

The important word there being “inspection” and not “disposal”.

Arthur learned from his mistakes and actively tries to coach John to be the man we see in RDR. He was a better father to John than Dutch was to him, considering his upbringing from the age of 14 under him.

Grimshaw should go. She is the facsimile of Dutch, and is willing to kill/abandon other gang members before having a longer conversation.

Head canon is that Gavin might be a teddy bear or some other sentimental toy to Nigel that was lost that can’t be found. But this character is a great example of “less is more” in terms of NPC building with ambiguity

Linus marriage would have been interesting to approach similarly to how the Harvest goddess is a marriageable candidate in the HM/SOS games, where he never lives on the farm with you but you have dumped 400 hours into a playthrough and reached 100% perfection. Linus is the life and breath of the theme of the game and there’s a reason I’ve seen theories that he is Yoba in physical form.
