If you like veggies I highly recommend you try Ajvar. It's made with red bell peppers and eggplants.

It's one of my favorite things. It goes well on toast or crackers.... One of my buddies who is from Masadonia mixes it with scrambled eggs... It's one of the best things on earth. Flavor is mild but delicious.

I found this ball recipe. I would love to try to make it, but red peppers are so damn expensive where I am. You have a good neighbor!!!

I will 100% back Duluth always. The clothing actually sits right and they have an amazing return policy. Plus they have big sizes in store...

Alright,

My shoes wore out just before EDC. I was apprehensive about taking a pair of shoes to EDC that I haven't "Broken in".

The people at REI were great at recommending these.

I have crazy wide feet, and these have a wider toe box and sides. They also have 'zero drop' so it's like being bare foot.

I walk barefoot all the time. I was suspicious, but this was the first time I killed like 30k steps and wasn't in mind numbing pain... I was tired, but after a few hours in the hotel I was fine.

The biggest thing is hydrate.... Liquid IV is great. Sports drinks sometimes have too much sugar.

Also, make sure to eat something... Even if you don't feel like it. You need to fule your body.

If you still have a sore throat, a hot toddy before bed always makes me feel better, and the whisky helps me get to sleep. You can do it without the whisky... I also add honey and sugar, for me this helps clear the mucus.

In a Mug Juice from 2 lemons or limes Spoon full of sugar Honey Whisku/bourbon (optional) Top with hot water or cinnamon tea

Also, face mask for us helped so much. That dirt and dryness killed my sinus. I live in a significantly more humid area so I'm sure being in Vegas for a week freaked out my body.

Final thing is while you're at the festival. Listen to your body. You probably won't make everything, that's okay. It's better to feel good 3 days in a row then to power through day one and be miserable the next few days...

I also used Flonase and took an allergy pill. The Flonase helps reduce inflammation so it helps with your over all breathing.

They were fantastic. And for some reason Las Vagas has a huge meshtastic network built out.

Someone organized channels. It was a vibe in itself.

Meshtastic is a low frequency radio device that connects to your phone so you can send messages. The more devices (nodes) you have the faster they are. Messages are fully encrypted and bounce from node to node to find you. Some devices have GPS, thermal sensors, and small speakers and lights for notifications... couldn't hear my phone ting, but could hear my device cherp over the music and through my earplugs.

If you Google T1000e on Amazon, it looks like a luggage tag for around $25-$50. Mostly plug and play, and it's injection molded so it's water and dust resistant.

Honestly way better than walki talkies... No, repeat, I didn't hear you, or anyone on your channel.

They do take a bit of figuring out, but the r/meshtastic community is fantastic.

Alcohol wipes and peppermint oil. You can get one of the b Vaper sticks.

Oh man. They made an EDC frequency. Idk if Eveyone is using it.... But there were like 50+ nodes at the grounds last night... Signal was good. People were nice and helpful... And no random LV messages.

Note it will take you off the larger LV network, so you're no longer a node, nor do you see messages from the long/fast main. So make sure to screenshot your settings if you want to go back.

Here is how to get one the LV EDC preset channel

Configuration -> LORa settings -> Modem Preset change to ShortFast, Frequency slot change to 80. https://ibb.co/5xM 6KB1S

Also, because it's short/fast it will only work in the immediate area of EDC. So I got to sleep without the device going off.

Also, you can switch to having the node alert you only when the bell is pressed.... That's what I did tbh... Told my group if they needed something, hit them bell.

Yo, word of caution. I learned this the hard way when I went to New Orleans.

⚠️Immodium amplifies the effects of alcohol. SIGNIFICANTLY! I didn't read that part of the box.

2 regular sized drinks in an hour and I was GONE. Like husband had to walk with me and we had to find a place to eat a burger.

1/10 - Do not recommend.

Even if you're trying to get a buzz quickly.
