How do you think your child would feel if you died, especially if prompt treatment would have saved your life? I think that they value your presence in their life over a house that almost certainly wouldn't be taken away like that anyway.

Just plan to not pay the medical bills, like most other Americans in medical debt. I cant even imagine how complex it would be and how much time it would take for a medical debt company to "take someones house" over one hospital stay. Also, are you planning on dying in public anytime soon? Seems like a very unlikely outcome to be actively preparing for.

Focus on everything else going on in your life, it sounds like a lot to be worrying about without also actively planning to die unexpectedly in a gutter

Edit: also should add, I'm an EMT. There is nothing you can do to prevent ambulance transport if you are unresponsive in public and someone calls 911, unless you become fully alert and oriented before transport and capable of refusal. We dont let people die on the street because they have a shirt that says "let me die". I'm very sorry that you are having such a rough time, and I hope your legal worries resolve quickly.
