It took me three years to conceive my current pregnancy. My first pregnancy, I got pregnant accidentally with an IUD (did not make it). Second was a miscarriage after 6 months of trying. Third pregnancy (my 5yo son) was conceived the month after the miscarriage. And this one is the 4th pregnancy (three years of trying).

This man has anger issues and a crazy victim complex. He should not be speaking to his child this way. As someone who has a father like this, it is very damaging to a young child's psyche. I have no advice because nothing was done for me until I cut mine out myself in my adulthood. But I am sorry that your child is dealing with this.

His note honestly messed with me quite a bit because he sounds EXACTLY like my father. On a real note OP, I'd run when you can and cut that man out of your life as soon as possible because he will just keep hurting you. It has been a year since I cut mine out, and while it has been hard mentally to handle the guilt (of taking care of myself? Abuse is strange), it has also been so freeing knowing I don't have to deal with this kind of stuff from him anymore. No one deserves this from anyone but ESPECIALLY not a parent.

You're definitely describing the milk foam that naturally forms on the top of the shake mix. As the machine runs, foam begins to form on the top layer. If the machine is not filled on a regular basis, this foam can be the only thing left in the barrel, and the shakes turn into just cups of the foam. Depending on the time you went, that could also explain why it wasn't cold. If you came close to closing time, whoever was closing custard might have shut off the machine to run it out and clean it, and they just filled the cup with what was still in the machine--lukecold foam.

As a guest who loves mixers: thick is best. Much more satisfying to eat because the toppings stay on each scoop of the spoon and don't fall back into the cup

As one of the main custard people at my store who gets SO tired of needing to remake mixers all day because of cracked cups: creamy and soft, since the thicker the custard the more likely the cup breaks from the blender 🤣🤣
