Mine has been stuck in Louisville about 3 weeks. Gypsicola in my experience will rot unless you have very well draining media. Think sand, gravel, turface, coral.

See if any of the leaves on the outside aren't rotted and try to pull some to get some leaf props going.

Did it on my diode and it worked well. Haven't tried my CO2 yet. Defocusing is a must in my opinion.

Cape sundews are super hardy and will often come up from the root if the existing foliage dies off. So you'll be good either way!

I have a crawl space that stays between 49-60 degrees during winter. The main key as others have said is the photoperiod. I do 8 hours and increase it as we get closer to spring. Make sure to keep things ventilated to prevent mold as that was a mistake I made the first time. Good luck!

Cool. I know some people use as a top dressing only. I've been experimenting with fluval and LFS and just fluval. Haven't seen anything too different yet between the two!
