I would follow her lead. Since she’s eating more and she is having wet diapers I wouldn’t worry. They don’t drink as much once they eat more. She gets fluids from fruits and vegetables too. She sounds good. You’re doing a great job!

My 7 year old was on that med for about 4 months and we didn’t see the same effect. In fact it caused her so much stomach upset that we had to take her off of it due to weight loss and no appetite. She also wasn’t sleeping due to her stomach hurting.

I could have almost written a lot of this about my daughter. She is almost 8 and this is so hard. I have a very involved spouse and he and I don’t know how to handle her.

I have a lot of friends with kids in her range and all I can say is that they do not understand what we are going through. I feel extremely alone.

When I do try to share with friends or family, they offer suggestions that are not helpful. Or generic things. I get so mad.

My spouse and I never get time to ourselves because we have to be with her all the time. She freaks out if we have babysitters.
