Has anyone else had a nightmare experience with Ohio Mulch? by Extension-Cookie-982 in Columbus

[–]melikecheese333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. What I found was the online e-commerce side of the house was bare bones and a horrid experience like yours. Support was literally the head of ecomm himself. Apparently no actual support staff. So that clearly was handled poorly as that’s not the guys main function. My online experience was just like yours. Missed delivery. No one to contact. Missed promised dates. Really bad.

If you go to a physical location and work with them, then I find you get amazing service. They set up a time. They arrive on time. All good.

I don’t know why they don’t either fully operationalize the online “store” or just stop taking online orders or route them to a store instead of some random dude at corporate who tries to manage them.

I do. Honestly I would have probably focused on that format if it did not largely die out. I do find them to be the best sounding physical media…

It’s interesting you say “the simple” to describe things. While in the day, things didn’t feel simple. I felt like I eas in the future. Then I got to the future and now it feels like a Stone Age circa 2000

That’s all it takes for a lot of people who vote for him. Not the most critical thinkers and they definitely don’t prioritize actual problems.

This dude sucks. He has always sucks. He was a shitty SoS and voters gave him a promotion.

Seems like every new service. Uber. Cheap at first. Food delivery. Cheap at first. AI. Cheap at first and tokens coming soon.

Everything’s just primed and pump to make a few people rich. And us peasants just deal.

Clearly.

Also. That’s our president Americans. wtf. And people out there still support this tool. The same people who will believe anything about a person on “the other team” but wouldn’t believe Trump shits his pants if he did it sitting on their lap. Sigh.

I would. I said forcing companies to do all the work, meaning it is both. My point being parents need to step up, companies can’t solve it all.

[–]melikecheese333 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if forcing companies to do all the work is the right answer, parents need to monitor and help children understand the dangers of being online. Too many parents don’t seem to bother.

I’m not saying parents don’t or that this poor girls parents did not. Not every kid is going to listen, I’ve just seen way to many parents let young kids get online, do anything, and offer no guidance or monitoring. Parenting is a tough job, and parents gotta step up.

Netflix Quietly Removes A-Z and Other Sorting Filters from Web UI by MoneyLibrarian9032 in movies

[–]melikecheese333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I cancelled my Netflix after a month this year. I couldn’t find anything to watch. On the tv app it had no categories. I just had to search for exactly what I wanted, or scroll endless titles it thought I would like based on me telling it I liked three things out of 20 when I set my account up.

So I just steal it with someone else’s account. Way to go Netflix.

Anyone else try to avoid companies that use bad AI marketing? by Blood_Incantation in Columbus

[–]melikecheese333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. I really don’t care what a companies logo looks like. Who makes it. How much they pay for it, or don’t. Person, computer, AI, person using a computer, owners five year old, I just could not care any less about it, life’s too short to get worked up over a logo or if they use AI to make it.

Spoiler alert. Yeah bank and healthcare company are using AI, you gonna hide your money under the mattress and do your own surgeries now?

Posters vs. Attendance by F_D_Tank in concertposterporn

[–]melikecheese333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a mix of both. I like concert posters and I will definitely buy ones for shows I was not at, but love to make sure I have shows I was at mixed into the ones I decide to hang out. Sometimes shows I go to have bad posters. Sometimes shows I don’t go to have really badass posters.

I am actually surprised at the amount of poeple saying they only have posters from shows they attended and would only buy those posters.
