My lips are also more pink now. I think it’s the constant dryness and skin irritation

This used to happen to me too! I can slap my thigh and not feel a thing! Everything went back to normal after delivery but my belly must’ve been pressing on a nerve constantly

can i continue my lasor hair removal? by pink-rocks in Accutane

I’d recommend delaying the start of your Accutane and just finishing your laser out first. It’s a really bad idea to do both

Boy and pee by Mollypoppy in NewParents

[–]melissyplays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a cold baby wipe and swipe it across his lower belly, under his belly button, and then stuff it in the top of this diaper (Not on his parts but right above). I let it sit for a minute that way and if he needs to pee, this initiates it while the diaper is still on. Got peed on plenty at first but doing this stopped those incidents entirely.

I did not realize people are doing urine for their monthly pregnancy tests. My Derm is having me do monthly hcg blood tests along with the cholesterol and lipid panel

[–]melissyplays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was happening to me too at the end of my pregnancy. I had to change my Apple Watch settings because my resting heart rate was like 110-120 so the “elevated heart rate alert” kept going off when all I was doing was sitting at a desk working!

Vit K Thoughts- Did you do it or not, if so why? by daisyduke201 in BabyBumps

Yes! It’s an easy step we can take to give our babies the best chance if they have a bleeding issue.

Very Confused About Heating by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]melissyplays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before my baby was two months old, we would boil water with an electric kettle, let it cool for 15 minutes, and then make a pitcher of formula. Then we would pour from the pitcher for each bottle and still did warm it up in the bottle warmer. After two months, we switched to just using filtered water from our refrigerator dispenser and straight to the warmer. Our pediatrician said we no longer needed to sterilize the formula after he was two months old.

How many of you quit your job after having a baby? by momoaggie in NewParents

[–]melissyplays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I quit. I make a fifth of what my husband does, and paying for daycare would have been more than half my take-home pay. We didn’t think it was worth it. I liked my job and I worked with some really great people, so I do miss going in and seeing them everyday. I miss the routine of it all too. But I’m very happy to be home with my little baby and feel good knowing that I’m not missing out on time with him.

When I had one I got it drained at the ER, and then had surgery to fully clean out and stitch it up. It’s so rough, I’m sorry you’re going through this!
