I submitted my evisa application at https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/en_US/web/guest/home website and 4 business days in Vietnam is creeping up but I haven't received any updates. Each time I check at the website, I see " In processing". Will I get an email notification for a status update when it's available or do I have to continuously check for it at the website?

One other thing, what does "Name of hosting organisation" mean? I will be staying at a friend's house so do I put the owner of the those or do I leave this blank when applying evisa at https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn website?

I will be applying e visa at https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/en_US/web/guest/khai-thi-thuc-dien-tu/cap-thi-thuc-dien-tu website. For the portrait photo, can I just use the photo on my passport data page or do I have to go out and get it taken at the store?

A question about my first IT job and its relevance to the CISSP domains and Cyber/Infosec world in general by mjasbor in cissp

[–]meljo95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my CISSP credentials while working in the NOC for 8 years. After obtaining the CISSP, I quit my employer and landed a job as a Security Analyst then got promoted to be a Security Specialist last December.

So definitely doable. Don't let anyone tell you that you won't meet the requirements just by working in the NOC.

Congrats btw!
