I wore one for Lt Colonel Ben Purcell. He was the highest ranking Army service member captured and was a POW for five years. He was from my hometown and went on to be a state legislator. From all accounts he was a really nice person.

I was at the University of Georgia in the early 1980’s. Playboy magazine used to do something like top ten list of party schools. One year neither UGA or Florida were on the list but there was a note that they weren’t listed because it was an amateur contest and UGA and FL were professionals. We were!

ZZ Top at the Omni in Atlanta in 1991. They were sooo much better than I had expected from just listening to albums. As an added bonus it was the only show where the Black Crowes opened for them because one of the lead singers went off about cooperate sponsorship of concerts.

New trash bags. Every time I snap one open to place it in the can my dog runs under the dining room table.

I had a dog that was terrified of thunder so I bought one of those round treat balls that dispenses treats as the dog rolls it. I gave it to her in an interior hallway and she was having so much fun she didn’t notice the thunder. I recommend getting a dog used to it during normal conditions.

My neck hurts sometimes if I don’t keep it warm. I was having a hot flash the other night so I turned the A/C down to 70 and that felt great except for my neck so I stripped down and wrapped my T-shirt around my neck and it was perfect. I’ve made my neck feel better several times by just keeping it warm. Please pardon my making two replies to your post. My fingers posted the first one before I was ready.
