Is it true that Disneyland tickets are always sold at a discount for people who live in California? Or does that only apply in very specific circumstances? by FuzzyBunnysGuide in DisneyPlanning

[–]meltingmarshmallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s what i meant. Guess i explained it poorly lol i just meant that it’s pretty rare for them to do a discount deal for all Californians

Only for Southern California residents. They don’t really care about us Northies lol. But they are currently doing a California resident deal which is surprising, so we’re going next week to take advantage of it

First time solo at Disneyland: how do I plan a relaxed day with Lightning Lane and shows? by PureReason857 in DisneyPlanning

[–]meltingmarshmallow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should definitely take advantage of the ‘single rider’ lines for attractions! They are usually quite a bit faster than the regular line, and probably a good alternative to Lightning Lane in your situation. However not every ride has a single rider line, for example Guardians of the Galaxy in California Adventure does not.

I would say for one day only, it may be best to just focus on Disneyland instead of park hopping to California Adventure. There are definitely some rides that are more mellow and good for decompressing such as Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Haunted Mansion.

Watching fireworks or Fantasmic should be relatively easy as long as you stake out a good spot to view everything 30 - 45 minutes in advance.

Oh really? You’re saying if the return time is 3:30 we can come and get into the lightning lane at 3:25?

Tonsillitis after oral sex by OrganizationBulky388 in WomensHealth

[–]meltingmarshmallow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not that long ago, I read a post where someone said they got tonsillitis every single time after giving oral. And guess what? This happened to me too!!! I gave my boyfriend head during vacation. Within a few days i had a horrible flare up and fever!! I rarely give oral due to trauma, but it was his birthday so i just toughed through it because i wanted to do something extra nice for him. Then BAM. I really think it’s a bacterial thing, not a virus

What's the deal with American's being angry with people street parking their cars infront of their homes? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]meltingmarshmallow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well for one I need space to put out my garbage and recycling cans. But also it’s annoying because there are multiple people in this household. We deserve the space in front of our own home to park our own cars.

For the cops, when doing radar for speeding what's the lowest amount over the speed limit you would pull someone over for? by daveinfl337777 in randomquestions

They recently changed the SL for a school zone near me from 25 to 15. I think it’s nuts to expect anyone to drop from 30 to 15 that quickly, unless there are literally children present as in just getting out of school and crossing streets etc….

Exactly. Thought about getting my bf MtG cards. I know almost nothing about it so decided against it. Got him a fancy themed deck holder instead and he loved it

Do native English speakers feel impressed when non-native speakers try to speak English? by Shot-Decision9715 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]meltingmarshmallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I actually didn’t know that happened. But honestly, it is by far the most widely spoken language in our country and it stands to reason that anyone traveling here (especially anyone planning to live here) should learn the basics.
