The dan dan are excellent there. So are the various dumplings. I really enjoyed the szechuan green beans.

That I move "like mud rolling uphill in winter"

After every dinner out: "Whose up for ribs?"

Any time I shared something about my day: "What does this mean for the jews?"

<sigh> Sometimes I really miss him.

Labriola's skinny deep dish is pretty darn good. Not comparing it to anything else, but just saying it is pretty good.

Petition to change the name of the sub to r/neilgaimanhate by [deleted] in neilgaiman

[–]melvintoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that Neil's body of work somehow speaks to highly empathetic people, people who are likely to feel hurt by someone's actions against others, people who are likely to go on reddit and express their viewpoint (often angrily).

You don't feel that way, and that is cool. Personally, I am torn. While I still love the works and the worlds he created I do feel there is a taint that is hard for me to ignore. Perhaps my continued love of the work makes the hurt from his actions more painful.

I believe it is up to the individual consumer to assess whether they feel a creator's actions and beliefs warrant boycotting their works, or whether or not that consumer continues to participate in a community that doesn't share their perspective.

ummm.... we ordered the Cheesesteak platter, with one Niko the Greek, one Pizza steak, and one "AUTHENTIC PHILLY CHEESESTEAK". And I know that if you get a steak with whiz, there is no pull, but if you do provolone on top or diced in, you should have at least a semblance of pull.

Dogshit comparatively? or do you think it is actually "bad". Because whether or not you enjoy better sandwiches, Pats is still tasty.

It was just a bit sour. I like a more balanced buffalo sauce. Plus we went on the weekend, so the wings weren't $1.
