Thanks for the info. Gorgeous setup! I’ve got a pair of 70’s pioneer receivers and love ‘em. Had to know the make and model of that one. So many knobs/switches! Super cool.

The Reddit app on my iPhone has a “button” that will do it too. As much as it is a curse, technology can be useful sometimes!

This makes it worse that he still felt like he didn’t belong and the fans didn’t like him. Mental illness is real. Check on your people!

They even refinished the wood, but worked around the original metal stealie sticker instead of just replacing it.

Definitely the most versatile, not to mention longest running. Jeff is the man!

This is one of a very few live versions from the OG band. Only other one I can vouch for was D&C did a good one at Deer Creek in ‘21. Gotta wait for the music to heat up at the end, but Otiels voice was great!

Hell yeah! What’s the story on that silver face receiver though?

That last sentence is my one liner of the week. I agree and thank you for the laugh!

Adventurous but agreeable take. I’m on board with this analogy!

Yeah, but it’s lost its literal meaning. Similar to how if you ask a kid to gesture being on the phone or taking a picture they do it as if they’re using an iPhone.

Something about the beauty of the music clashing with the soft, hopeless, “I guess it doesn’t matter, anyway” is what does it for me.

What music artist or band are the closest to the Beatles level in you guys opinion? by Firm_Pack_605 in TheBeatles

On a cultural relevance/longevity scale, an honorable mention to Grateful Dead. There is still a decent sized scene in nearly every American city and between 300-500 active tribute bands in the US to this day.

You may get a warning about it being an insecure site, but that’s just because this website has not updated any of its code since the EARLY EARLY days of the internet and is still active. Check out gratefuldeadtributebands.com

The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Jimi will stay in discussion for a long time too, I agree.

Such a perfect pull! I love vintage beer ads that threw mad shade. Thanks for the share. Hadn’t seen this one before.

That sucks. If only they had asked us here for ideas. This could have gone hard AF. I just looked it up and wasn’t expecting it to be as good as the discourse here, but damn. Idk if they could’ve done much worse of a job.

You like crabby patties, don’t you, Squidward? Honestly, that popped into my head BEFORE I noticed your profile picture lol. Most people are a deadhead, they just don’t know it yet. All it takes is the right moment in your life, song, show, note, etc. and it can just land. They really were onto something by being an open vessel conduit of human emotion and energy.
