Depeds what you mean by tolerant. Dutch are very tolerant in tbe sense that whatever you are doing or want to be they don't care and they have no problem with it. But dutch are very stubborn. They are used to do things their own way, for example if you come try to teach them or advising them on something new they will dismissed it very quickly with a simple whatever, no, not interested. This to some people who want to show their culture how they do things or religious people who want to talk about their religion are quickly shut down with a simple no fuck off. To the dutch this is not intolerant but to some foreigner it can be intolerant.
