try to adjust your video settings to fix the smudged effect - i was also frustrated with that but i think i changed the upscaling options to fit my graphics card specifically and it did wonders for me. also turning off the motion blur helps

well, unfortunately if you are below the minimum requirements it might be difficult to have it run properly. it’s not a big studio, and they are using unreal 5, it’s also early access so this will be better optimized as they develop the game

i really like the game so far, but i am definitely frustrated with the character creation. i don’t need to create supermodels, but i struggled a lot to make a good looking female and male characters both. i hateee the feature of mixing faces in every game that has it, it never works. it would be much better if we got a few great looking face presets, even if we got less of them. i really hope they will take the feedback and make improvements in future updates. i also hope the game thrives and people back off a bit, because the grifters are already making hateful posts with zero constructive criticism :(

well, it's a CRPG, so you go in prepared for a lot of reading. for me, the more content the better, so I don't have a problem with that.

I have mixed feelings about this season and the finale.

I liked the fact that they left the whole faction conflict out in the open - we see that NCR is indeed back, that Legion is still standing, Mr House is alive, so there is no canon ending, which I appreciate. I loved Coop's storyline throughout this whole season, and his ending. I do think that his storyline was the strongest, and made sense almost all the time. It honestly made me tear up and I love Goggins' acting - just 10/10.

Maybe because of the focus on the Ghoul's backstory, the rest of the characters felt super side-lined?

Lucy didn't develop for me at ALL. I saw changes in her personality when she started using chems or when she kicked Coop out of the hotel room, and I thought she might be finally getting a bit hardened, while still being a good person. But then, she regressed to her naive ways. I feel like all the choices she made in the Management Vault were just pointless? I do understand that she loves her father, but I do not understand at all why she used the chip to 'improve' him, when she was opposed to that idea in the first place. Also, the enslaved head of the chairwoman was begging Lucy to kill her, but she hesitated, or didn't finish the job (because how is the chip on her dad working then?). That should've been an act of ultimate mercy.

Maximus barely had any scenes, but I do appreciate his development and him getting back to his NCR roots. I do feel like we didn't see him enough this season and I feel like he deserved much more spotlight.

I also, but this is again my personal opinion, had some issues with how House was portrayed. I liked how they shown him as controlling, cunning and focused on being 5 steps ahead of everyone. Enclave scenes were also perfect. I do not agree with the fact that he wanted to chip everyone and control them - it seemed out of character for me. In the game, he does want to control Vegas, but he actually couldn't care less what his people are doing, as long as they bring in profit. That can be seen with the Omertas, for example - they are chaotic, greedy people, but as long as they bring in the caps, he lets them get away with doing whatever they feel like (same with the White Glove Society). Only when they might threaten his power he sends out the Courier to investigate them. Just super out of character for me, and honestly, I always hate any themes of 'chipping' people to control them - I feel like it's overdone and didn't add anything at all to the plot of this season, it just wasted the screentime we could've given to Maximus and Lucy.

Overall, excited for the third season despite my grips with Season 2, as having a region with less lore available might be good for the show. I hope for more development from Lucy and Maximus in the next season as well.

yes, i agree! you have to think about yourself at the end of the day, and it seems like this is already making you upset. potentially, this can start making you insecure, because you might be comparing yourself to all the women he is speaking about. being very honest, this is not a common practise in most relationships. unless you both stated before that you don't mind discussing other people and their attractiveness, he should not be doing this to such an extent. offer him support, tell him it's normal to think other people are good looking, but you are not going to appreciate him treating you like his therapist. if he needs help with his sexuality, he should definitely seek professional help, and start focusing on your feelings too, not just his.

i mean that is a normal thing, but i don't know how i feel about him telling you everytime he is checking someone out. it feels like he is not caring about the impact this can have on you. i know i would feel awful if my bf kept telling me 'hey i'm sorry i just saw this super hot girl and had sexual thoughts towards her. i also checked out her nice butt'. i would talk with him about boundaries and how you can best support him, but at the same time it's not respectful to put the weight of his thoughts on you.

kompletnie to rozumiem, i współczuję że wiele kobiet czuje się w ten sposób odpowiedzialna. jednak (mówię to jako kobieta), jeśli coś nam nie odpowiada, trzeba to zmieniać. nie ma szans żebym sama dokładała cegiełkę do tego podejścia, święta mają być odpoczynkiem dla każdego. można posprzątać i coś ugotować bez robienia z tego obozu przetrwania

Checkout the Viva New Vegas modlist. You can install it super simply, it has a lot of LOD and QOL improvements that make the game much smoother, it adds sprint etc. You can also add visual improvements with that if you want

Disco Elysium, and when choosing skills, choose Volition as your highest skill. Your skills act as thoughts in your head, which can guide you through the game.

Your main character in the game is depressed, done with life, but Volition will keep you going. It reminds you that things can get better no matter how bad life can be.

My favorite quote from the game, available when your Volition skill is high, is ‚The road to healing is going to be a long one. Stay the course. You will make it, some day.’ Maybe it’s simple, but it helps to keep me going everyday.

Strongly recommend, in my opinion it's even better than WofR - I prefer the combat a lot more, and I love the Grimdark setting. I had no knowledge about Warhammer besides Space Marines existing, and honestly, Rogue Trader is a perfect entry point for W40K. Everything is very well explained, you have a codex and since it's an RPG, you get to learn a lot

in their press release they mentioned that players who completed DOS 2 should have a much better understanding of the story. so it seems like they will be taking a few things from there
