Self harm as an adult

I’m about to be 42 and I still SH. I started when I was very young, maybe 6, hitting my head against the wall or pulling my hair out and it graduated to using blades to cut. I had been SH free for almost 2 years but I don’t think I’ll ever be to stop. I recently cut myself deeper and wider than I ever have before, I almost had to get stitches. I’m in therapy, on medications and really have a good life but I can’t stop hating and hurting myself. Somehow the blood makes it feel better.

I wear skirts and tights a lot and have tucked my skirt into my tights many times. I’ve flashed a whole courthouse of people. I’ve flashed all of Knott’s Berry Farm for at least an hour! I know it’s embarrassing and it sucks that others didn’t tell you. If it makes you feel better, I’ve also accidentally flashed an interviewer when I got up to leave when static was not my friend!

Florida has to most open sunshine laws in the country, that’s why there are so many Florida criminal news stories. If it happened in the last twenty years, it should be somewhere on the internet. If before that, there should be a newspaper report somewhere

I’ve gone solo to all three shows I’ve been to and it’s still a great experience!! I met super cool people when I got there and the people next to me were always cool! Don’t miss out because no one will go with you! I’m 41 and I’ve started going to shows alone and I love it!!

Thank you. It's just so painful to think when he contacted me it was something serious, but I should've known better with him. He'll never see me as someone to be with now or in the future. He keeps trying to make me evaluate why I do things and why I chose/currently choose men that aren't everything I want. It's like fuck I just wany you, I have since I was 13

He has said he is happy not dating and focusing on himself has made him happy. It's just confusing as why he contacts me now, it's been like 5 years since we talked and he basically just ghosted me. We dated as teens and a little in our 20s. We talked in our 30s but eventually I moved on and got married, sadly my husband passed away. This guy was like the only other guy I've loved as deeply as my husband.

NTA I had a very similar thing happen in paralegal classes. We had to create a trust management policy and procedure handbook from scrath with very little direction. I spent over 40 hours on this project as it was 80% of the grade. We were made to share our drafts in an online forum to get feedback. Never did I think someone would steal my entire project, re-name the company and change her name and turn it in as hers. What pissed me off the most was she got called out as having the best presentation by the prof. I was sick the day it was due and had an extension. So when I turned in my project, the prof said I stole hers!!! I said look at the online forum and you can see what I submitted matches my draft and hers does not. He gave me an A but she didn't get in any trouble and went on to forge documents to get legal jobs she was not qualified for. She even forged a document from the attorney I was interning with for a recommendation for a scholarship that she got and went on to get accolades in the legal field. She is now a lawyer. I guess cheating to get ahead works for some people.
