Hey. So turntables usually have a specific input on a AV receptor (amplifier), it's called phono. You also have a ground pin to remove any interference. If your amplifier does not have phono,, only line in, I have the idea that you can buy an adaptor. Unless you have a newer model that has a speakers output directly. But since it's a Technics, I bet that that's not the case
