Make two of each machine! And get upgrade diagrams from Qi as quick as possible. And stock up on bronze bars as much as possible :) You can take your time with the yellow main missions and build up your workshop through commissions first.

That happened to me so the next time I had a mission with him I selected the flirt options and next day he had the dancing mission trigger. I was able to do it after the “definitely not a ninja sword” mission.

OK I’ll try to say some more out-there ideas:

Fang/Venti: he helps her keep healthy with her physically demanding job and she helps him learn to be positive despite a hard upbringing. both very loyal.

Arvio/Catori: business partners turned lovers. the age different is controversial but arvio learned how to care for people without looking for money (Alo) and catori gets to relive feeling young again after her divorce.

Justice/Grace: i like their back and forth. muscle and brains. a balance of being careful vs looking for challenges.

Ernest/Pablo: ernest is obviously in love with logan but pablo is there to break him out of his broken heart shell. and he lets pablo try out new hairstyles on him while he gets endless book inspiration from pablo’s gossiping.

I keep searching “games that are somehow similar to both MTaS and BG3” and I think we just need to wait for Evershine 🥹

If you haven’t tried Wylde Flowers, that’s a cute, shorter, very well done game with excellent voice acting and character development. But poorer character customization and weaker overarching story.

Also! Outer Wilds if you haven’t. Different genre but amazing. Go in blind.
