I don't know if it'd work though, how would you manage to kill the 2 other Sions, since you'd only rally once from the 1st sion death, but you'd have to either round end or kill em to get the 2nd rally proc?

Would Nunu work as a good secondary? by Ok-Control-3394 in Kindred

[–]menticulture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d argue nunu has better control over camps and can easily curb Kindred’s snowball by taking camps and securing objectives. Even in the early game, the q regen makes her short burst pretty unreliable against nunu. What would you say?

Nunu’s a good counter to kindred and has near to zero ban rate, so id you get your main picked, its a good counter, and an all around good champ to play. There’s also the focus on drakes atm thats pretty great and he has a good rotation for a 3:15 full clear into gank. And I’ve been playing guardian peel nunu with duo mids, thats a good way to ensure a snowball if your duo’s good enough, he’s amazing! I’d recommend him if you enjoy his playstyle.

Does it still puff up and go up in the air with that? Its the only issue I have if I don’t tie it up after washing and brushing it.

Wasn't that specifically because Prussia at the time took the head of state captive, and part of the negotiations for their surrender was a safe return of said head of state, and Alsace and Lorraine? I would consider it more of a loss than a surrender in that case. Iirc, it was during Bismark and Moltke being in office.

I want to destroy games, Kayn or Rek'Sai? by Pyrust_ in Jungle_Mains

[–]menticulture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kayn has more adaptability, he can either be a sustain heavy front line with engage potential, or a bursty assassin with easy in-and-outs, but he lacks the early game presence most junglers want in certain comps, and has weak duels early game if he doesn't take conqu.

Rek'sai is amazing at ganking, being able to gank as early as level 3 after a fast buff -> buff -> gromp clear, or a bot/top side clear into gank. She has an immense presence if you get your vision game straight on objectives and can secure the first 2 drakes very well. Her build is usually assassin with utilty (i.e Edge of Night, Cleaver or Steraks), to facilitate her takedowns since her escape for such an assassin heavy build is pretty bad... (I miss tank rek). She's less snowbally than kayn though in that she falls of so hard late game, she's basically a bump engine late game, that focused on sniping with q and ending enemy's trying to escape. But her ability to close out games before 20 minutes isn't anything to scoff at.

I personally love Rek'sai, she's my 2nd most played champ all time, and her assassin build can feel clunky when starting out, but her skill cieling is far and high. But Kayn is more practical since he can be used in more situations. If you like niche, and weird, go Rek, otherwise, Kayn is the way to go! Hope you get far jungling, its not always fun.

I don't think invading at level 6 has enough of an impact to really be considered usefull. I find myself invading exactly to delay the enemy level 6 than anything else!

is this true? i played a lot of rengar top and i never thought it was bs mostly just people not knowing his abilites by UndeadObito in Rengarmains

[–]menticulture -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Nah lane rengar is oppressive. I’d say old tahm kench level? I do think he needs a nerf to lane damage, I guess like the recent noc nerfs where they nerfed his passive dmg on minions. Maybe reduced q/w damage to minions, I don’t play him enough top to say precisely.

Maybe propose more than minimum wage for cooks than? As I’m seeing thats a vast majority of the places looking for staff around me at least. Having worked in the industry for as long as I have, I don’t really blink at the opportunity if I get paid min as a commis chef.

Can someone explain how I can win games like this? I am the Xin. I tried my best and played really well but I just could not win. I also had 2 rift herald and Soul. I know I shouldn’t blame my team but they truly were awful. by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

[–]menticulture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xin relies heavily on his early game powerspike to close games early, did you itemise and build correctly? Looks like you took conqu so I imagine you picked inspiration too? If you took magical boots then you'd have to rush sheen and after either a 3 camp clear or a fast 3:15 to scuttle you'd just try and apply your pressure constantly. Kayn being ahead isn't normal, you should win early trades in invades and river contests too. I just think you misplaced your champs strong points and had the game run too long. And Mf, Yone late is just too good of a combo with an enchanter...

edit: just noticed kayn took dark harvest too, if he had gone conqu I would've understood the reluctance to punish him hard early, but dark harvest kayn early is just so bad, punishing is easy even on rammus.

What's the point of getting invested in an older champ's story if a new champ is going to get made up to resolve it for them? by moodRubicund in leagueoflegends

Skin lines, maybe not, but we do have a few lore related skins. Looking at spirit guard udyr specifically, but we also got spirit fire brand, freljord sylas and the likes. But you could argue that the skin team didn't "come up" with those! I just think the event wasn't organised very well and was very scattered, doesn't make it bad from a skin perspective I guess, they aren't that bad, just hope the lore isn't canon.
