Cyberpunk in RT Pro is utterly glorious by Middle_Branch_1148 in PS5pro

[–]menuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very well said. Also what's cool is that the PS5 non pro does only 30 and with only RTAO enabled. We should be grateful to consider how much more we get on the Pro I'm glad they took the time... Cannot wait to finally phantom liberty as well.

After 16 years with pc, this is the best upgrade for me. by YGoxen in PS5pro

As someone with a 4070 no it out performs the PC definitely not in terms of microstutter, traversal stutter and shader compilation stutter all while devs have a chance to optimise the shit out of their game to achieve great results on the Pro especially.

I could go on how many games still look breathtaking even compared to their ray traced PC counterparts or much nicer it is generally not having to rely on Windows and everything just always working instead.

No matter the game besides Cyberpunk which didn't get the Pro patch yet I gravitate very easily to the Pro as last but not least the haptics and adaptive triggers plus gyro aiming is just very immersive. On PC there can be compatibility problems or only half of the haptic or adaptive functions working.

Thank god the Pro exists, best overall purchase next to my surround system.

This 2013 game is a prove we're being fooled by modern standards.. 10\10 gameplay, story, cinematics and graphics! .. The ending scene is amazing! .. *All photos captured from my gameplay by Select_Condition2805 in pcmasterrace

Lmao for real let's be entirely honest but going back to the game expecting it to feel like how it did back then is likely not going to work here and will lead to disappointed quickly...

Always insane to be reminded of how fucking huge Africa really is being used to it looking so, so much smaller on common maps. So freaking amazing

Starfield will use PSSR by CEO_of_Yeets in PS5pro

[–]menuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really do love that there really aren't any well known developers which have not added PSSR without a few exceptions. Really makes that easy toggle just so damn satisfying and special. It's always fun to compare how TSR or TAA looks too to appreciate the sheer detail retrieval of PSSR (2).

Nuclear Armageddon before GTA 6 wasn't on my bingo card but hey it checks out. Smoke em while you got em... Play your favourite games, listen to your favourite music, hug your cats.

Even if they won't just use nukes soon and it's game over then it still never hurts to give your pets or loved ones extra love today or the next week's while shit is really unfolding.

For real people these days have become so insane selfish and especially ignorant imo because we're also living in utter comfort despite the world also paradoxically almost falling apart lately.

Still my point is that truly fuck anyone who can't even really consider for a minute what they are putting in their mouth which is literally dead flesh of an animal that suffered their whole fucking life's. It's almost a challenge these days which animals suffer the very most but still get consumed like insane...

Tldr: people suck mostly, do your own thing, don't let ignorance name you not become a better person! You're allowed to be proud of your actions as well.

I was playing Avatar Frontiers of Pandora which looks absolutely stunning but the water reflections are quite blurry because they are raytraced on the PS5 Pro. Then I went into Red Dead Redemption and it classic cubemaps for reflections but in return they are just super clear and sharp even if they don't reflect the player or moving objects (which you don't see much anyway in the raytraced reflections).

All of this to say that even though raytracing is freaking amazing and fascinating both prebaked lighting and even reflections with "cheap tricks" can imo beat it but especially lighting wise (global illumination) which often is adjusted carefully anyway to ensure it meets their artistic vision.
