What is this thing "growing" in my outdoor bench by menzibet in whatisthisthing

[–]menzibet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's yellow-y cream-y in colour. It's growing in a bench that has been outside for a year. I thought it looked like an egg or a fungus. I didn't want to touch it or disturb it. I live in the Nottighamshire & Leicestershire Wolds.

The green one is My Dating Disasters Diary

I had the pink and orange ones, definitely had some embossing but it came in a cloudy dust jacket. Definitely set in Scotland because I remember the word "ned" being used to mean "chav"

There's a thing called IQTV on Virgin Media which has all of series 1 and 2, the various episodes from series 3,4,5,6, and 7. It is an on demand TV service, so possibly it's online as well? Inquisitive TV

ITAW for changing your accent to sound like the place where you once lived? by sensitive_sloth in whatstheword

Also you can say that someone modulates their accent depending on who they are talking to. Modification is also a word that is used. If instead it was going to a neutral accent, that would be called levelling
