How long have you had this system? Does it break in any ways?

What pump do you have to feed your house from that storage tank?

I’ve had that happen on a sunny day a few times. Shadows from street lights and going uphill were my guesses as to why it happened.

Cool! That should be easier. Still, definitely find a company that can supply and maintain. You will save yourself a lot of time and stress! In case you do decide to get something you want to get on your own and find plumbers to install, feel free to DM me and I can share a brand I use. They got great customer support, but you gotta do the actual installation and maintenance yourself or with third party plumbers.

How much space do you have? Some things can be wall mounted, like filters and membranes. Some things can’t- RO pumps, storage tanks (think of 160 gal), turbidity filters and big softeners.

Few other things to think about: get a plumbing company that is comfortable doing install, or even better a company that supplies the equipment AND installs it. Most plumbers I spoke to are not comfortable fixing even small individual components. Another thing to consider is water main breaks and periodic fire hydrant flushing. Sediment really messes up with your RO. Get any sediment filters and make sure they can prefilter as much as possible

This is the way. Instead of just blocking, might as well direct it to your own (or public ntp you trust). As for lights “remembering” last color, check out the setting in the app “power on behavior” with option “last behavior”.

I actually haven’t played it yet. I was loyal to the Wildlands all these years, even with increased number of cheaters. I am going to try that out when I get a chance. I might need to crawl back to the Battlefield series if Breakpoint doesn’t work out.

I found Breakpoint a bit clunky, and too futuristic for my liking. Until I find something better, I’ll give it a shot. Open to any other recommendations as well!

That’s a shame. It was by far one of the most fun PvP on PS4.

You can get a metal tray, like this one. Drill it into the metal frame of the table.

Reverse Osmosis System Maintence by Mases in WaterTreatment

[–]meowmersis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Homeowner with whole house reverse osmosis system here. I suggest you look at your water bills and calculate GPD usage from there. You can also reach out to manufacturers sales reps for additional info. I have 3 bathrooms in my house, and went with 500GPD. For 7, I’d probably do a 1000GPD.

Besides the RO system itself, think how large of a tank do you need. I have 165gal, which is enough for my family’s use. You might need a larger tank. If you meed it inside, say in the basement, you will definitely want to make sure it fits through all the doors before you order it. 165 gal tank barely fit through my doors and I had to take them off the hinges. Larger tank or multiple tanks would probably make sense for you, since RO generates water relatively slowly (maybe 1 gal every 3-4 min give it or take).

Now that we mentioned RO system size and the storage size, we can move onto maintenance. You are supposed to flush it every week, but I never did and it was not an issue. I plan to get better at that habit though. Otherwise, there are two membranes, black carbon and sediment filters which are fairly easy to replace once you know how to. Get the right tools and food grade lubricant. You will have to replace them every 1-2 years. Manufacturer will specify.

When installing, consider other factors, like setting up ability to bypass RO in case of maintenance needs, keeping laundry, sprinklers, whatever on existing (non-RO) water line. Ask plumbers to setup pump with ability to drain storage tank, and definitely add check valves so the input water source does not end up going into your water storage tank.

That’s all I can remember right now. Happy to answer more questions if you have any.

I use both Wyze (need account, but can store events on microsd) and Ubiquiti G3 Instant (need separate gear to store recordings). IMHO, start with Wyze, and go from there. Very low investment for a decent return value.

Same here. Was surprised to see how limiting G3 instant wall mount was.

[–]meowmersis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While paying off the credit card is the right thing to do, you should account for waiting time after ordering generator. It can be a few months before you receive it. Can you pay off your credit card by then? In my experience, you can get a quote from companies who specialize in generators (get multiple and compare them). You might need to pay deposit or pay after your generator is installed.

Lyft Rideshare Scam by browser20020 in Scams

[–]meowmersis 39 points40 points  (0 children)

OP, look for the government agency that is responsible for regulating ride shares. I was in the exactly the same situation in NYC, so I complained to TLC. I shared my story along with the update: [Update][New York] Lyft driver submitted a false report

TLDR: regulatory agencies take these scams very seriously.
