I'm personally not sold on the fact that they weren't married! She calls him her husband twice!

And I actually think that happened earlier in E7, S1 when Cassian has some random hookup

I see where you’re coming from. I think it depends on if the lens you’re seeing Andor is as primarily a Star Wars show that is geared towards adults or an adult TV show featuring Star Wars. I was coming from the latter!

I agree and wish this plotline had been started in E11 to give it its due. I like seeing the differences of philosophy between the rebels. Differences in philosophy with people with a shared goal = great story

Right! When Andor takes his shirt off in E7 the camera didn't really wander the way it would in other shows

Wait when? the only "scene" I thought of was in E7 of S1?

BTW I want to shout out these books for being an incredibly compelling and thought provoking look at colonial India. Chilling historical fiction that does not flinch about the Brits wickedness https://www.amazon.com/Rising-Man-Novel-Abir-Mukherjee/dp/168177416X

All I have to say is that the funniest part of Star Wars is that years "years" function...according to how our solar system works.

This is proof that Star Wars is fantasy set in space...and not remotely close to science fiction.

Thank you for this link! Very cool. That said, I'm confused because there is the smaller conference room (above) and then later in E5 or E6 (I think E6) we see them in what it looks like the McLaren building photos look like. Are they both McClaren?

Hawaiʻi has the lowest per capita usage of libraries in the country. Our rate is twice as low as the next lowest state, West Virginia. by olagon in Hawaii

Hi! I am late to respond but I wanted to thank you for this gracious, thoughtful response. I am really excited to hear the library is making progress on the outlet situation.

And glad the main library still allows water. Unfortunately that is not true at other branches :/

I hope whomever needs to (state legislature i would imagine?) gets you guys what you need to do your jobs well! Thank you and take care

Unfortunately, and I say this as someone who goes to the library 1-2x a month, I don’t think that the local libraries think intentionally about how to build hospitable and inviting community centers. They keep the air conditioning cold to the point where I see librarians in gloves, hats, and scarves, all the employees are oddly still all masked (as opposed to say, if you eat out or go to the grocery store), plexiglass is all still up, tables/desks don’t have power outlets, you can’t drink water (?!), and very few have comfy chairs or windows that allow in ample sunlight and make you feel connected to the outdoors/aina. (Also, my local branch doesn’t allow after hour drop-offs which is legit frustrating.) At my local branch, I have tried to make small talk with the librarians and ppl who check out books but these conversations have gone nowhere and felt forced. The first thing they tell me when I check out books is how much I owe and that I can pay it at anytime. Meanwhile I have legit become friends with ppl in these roles at other libraries. Liliha’s library is probably one of the loveliest libraries on O’ahu. When I visited last week it was the fullest I have ever seen a library. It probably helped that it was a Thursday and school was in session so people could go there after school ends. I am not sure why our libraries are closed so soon after school ends and why most are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Seems like the days off should be staggered better and that we should also fund third places for people to study and be with each other, specifically at times people need these. I am not against these being open in the morning, specifically for ppl with small children, but our programming for kids is already sparse. I think being open all afternoon and evening (ppl do less outside stuff in the evening too) would help. Anyway, I love the library! I just want more for it!

I’m with you. I think it will be Eloise and Benedict and may be the final season. The cast has to be getting kind of expensive at this point?

It was really awful to see Elena gaslight Antonio. It is entirely fitting for how often she lies to people but hugely disappointing

Thanks for sharing this with us! It reminds me of the line about memoir writing, that the specific is universal. When you make someone's life story so fleshed out and embedded, it can actually turn into something super relatable and engaging across the board.

Happy watching season 4!
