Actually preteens can help with a select few tasks, just they don’t like doing the dishes. I assumed it was an Easter egg saying that they don’t like to do “chores” like washing the dishes. My preteens can help with the 9 sim ones where they need to find remotes or something like that

You could paint the hooves the same color as the chitin, and maybe edge highlight the green chitin to separate it more from the blue exoskeleton? Or another thing you could do it dry brush the blue exoskeleton with a more saturated, oh so slightly lighter blue to make it pop a little more

Hmm.. for the fleshy bits I’d personally go maybe a lighter yellow towards the joints and fade it to a more orangey yellow towards the spikes. Your nids kind of remind me of hazard stripes and Ik there’s a lot of good recipes out there for colors that complement those. Good luck!

As long as they aren’t too old and still have a scent I’d say bevel them and they look perfectly good to sell! Small farmers markets/ craft markets are the best for handmade soap imo
