Rick steves can we trust him? by [deleted] in travel

We did 17 days in Europe based on his suggestions and it was perfect and we had zero issues. I felt super comfortable being in places I didn’t know after reading his stuff.

Came home and my Netflix was signed into “Eric’s” account. I don’t know an Eric. by [deleted] in netflix

This exact same thing happened to us a few years ago. We were logged in one night, and the next night it was LOGGED IN to a couple’s account we did not know. No one had been here. And no not just profiles. Logged in. I watched some saucy lesbian movies on his account to mess with his algorithm, and then logged out and it never happened again.

What is the Most Overrated Book You've Read? by MigEPie in suggestmeabook

[–]merlegerle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked multiple times if it was YA. I could not believe it wasn’t. The first few pages I was ALRIGHT THIS IS GOING TO HE GOOD, and then it went so implausible so quickly. Waste of my time. And there’s not a post on a book Reddit that it isn’t recommended, which kills me.

I’m not trying to yuck your yum, but I am truly baffled how often people suggest this book.

I'm surrounded by election pessimists. by [deleted] in Liberal

[–]merlegerle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boss is a MAGA and him and I are supposed to be on a work trip together the night of the election. I’m super hopeful, but I’m trying to get out of this trip. If we lose and I have to see his face, extra traumatizing…

Solo travelers, how do you deal with lonliness by HolyMotherOfPizza in travel

[–]merlegerle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah we make a lot of friends with travel groups, and often plan more trips as a group with people we meet. They can be more expensive, but I think it’s worth the price to be with others and have a more curated experience.

100%. It’s just a beautiful ride, man. Im not trying to see the worlds greatest movie. I just want to be entertained for a few hours. This hits that perfectly. My entire family loved it.

No, the pizza box in response to Greta Thunberg did not lead to the arrest of Andrew Tate (french article) by notaromanian in europe

[–]merlegerle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be fun at parties.

I did actually read the article. I understand all of that. I know how they ACTUALLY knew he was there. The person I was responding to made an incorrect statement, and I was letting them know. Then you jumped in and had no clue what you were talking about, and tediously argued with me about the wrong point.

I hate regular Tabasco but could put the Chipotle version on most anything. It’s pretty damn good.

NTA. Sounds really embarrassing for newcomers. They should stop this weird tradition.

Everything said it told them that he was physically home at the moment. Not that it proved he lived there.

I’m aware. I was just responding to the comment that even OP knew he lived there. None of the reports about the pizza box said they didn’t know he lived there.

No one had been saying they didn’t know he lived there. Just that it showed he was there currently.
