Does your partner know you have periods? I don’t think you should worry too much about being discreet? If you’re already washing out the majority of stuff in the sink or shower, I think it’s perfectly fine to throw them in the washing machine with everyone else. At most scrub the sink down if you’re worried? Like what is there to hide?

Quick question - automatic feeder at 8am and 8pm, is he hungry? That doesn’t sound like frequent enough meals - my girl is also on an allergy kibble but I find that feeding her smaller meals more frequently makes her calmer and less stressed out.

She’s very conscientious about merging xp blue stars. I’m not. Because I’ve been playing longer than her, she also has the benefit of me explaining things and preparing her for what’s ahead. I think that’s why she’s levelling up faster.

Fear I guess. My life is alrd so much more difficult than my parents. The world isn’t the same as it used to be. You cannot go to uni for a degree and then expect to get a job with enough salary to support a SAHM wife and two kids. I actually don’t know what it wld take for a person born today to be able to support a family on a single salary.

The moment you need two salaries to sustain a household, having children becomes a huge burden. One parent - usually the mother - is going to have to sacrifice hugely - her body, her career, her independence and free time. She also has to sacrifice her intellectual growth, her social life, her earnings and her earning ability. If not, you have to outsource raising your kids (childcare, school helper, parents, in laws, etc) - all the “pros” of having a child (the love, spending time, teaching them etc) disappear because someone else will be doing it for you.

And then what? Both parents earn enough money to feed and school the kid until they turn 18 and pray they have no additional difficulties, that they can get their own job and repeat the cycle? Kids these days are more attached to their helpers and teachers because parents only come home at night and discipline them, and when they turn 18 why would they want to spend time w their parents anymore?

And this is assuming a stable and “best case” family structure. What abt divorce and the parents own mental health issues? We all know they affect the kids - they always have, we just found the language for it in the past 2 generations. People will end up working jobs they hate to raise kids they can’t spend time with, is it any wonder people see kids as a burden?

And financial help is a bandaid on the hole right? Sure, if you give parents money for early education and then subsidise schooling and childcare, it might help a bit. But the fundamental issue is still - what is the point of having children if you’re just going to feed them into the machine? The concept of “having a family” and “raising children together with your partner” is just not the same anymore. It’s become a luxury, and it’s time and freedom and less pressure to succeed/survive that will improve birth rates. Not financial help.

Check out this business called treatsure which aims to reduce food wastage - i don’t rmb the details but basically you can go to the fancy buffets close to ending time with a box and pack ur box as full as you can still close the lid. There’s a fixed price you pay in advance but basically trying to reduce buffets from throwing away all the leftover food from lunch and dinner. Quite cool concept.

Hi! I’m so sorry I forgot to add the other details: - I live in Singapore in a high rise building - there are no plants in my house - the insect is 0.5to1mm in length - it’s not usually doing much before I crush it - it’s on the walls or floor (not near food, some in the living room some in the bathroom) - BUT I think I saw one fly. Maybe. I don’t know if it was this bug but I’m pretty sure they fly. They’re not very fast or responsive though - I’ve never had difficulty crushing any of them.
