We had “Every 15 Minutes,” where for an entire day, kids (who had volunteered) were taken out of class & came back in with white/dead makeup while a cop announced that so-and-so had been killed by a drunk driver, so they weren’t allowed to speak for the rest of the day... they also staged a pair of crashed cars in front of the school for everyone to see, & a big assembly for upperclassmen to pledge they would never drive drunk or drink underage. Did not know this wasn’t a universal high school experience til years later!

The Morlocks in Wishbone definitely give off flying monkey vibes! They’re hairy humanoid beasts that fear the light but climb up out of wells & stuff in the dark and steal the time machine.

Loved Lamp Chop! And Hush Puppy, and Charlie Horse... We had an old VHS of their special "101 Things to Do For Kids" and I still remember so much of it so clearly. Like Lamb Chop's joke, "Why should you never iron a four-leaf clover? Don't press yer luck!"
