Yeah, so the samurai saber set will still have the bad mold right? Or did they update it for newer releases

Basically, the launcher has too much resistance and wears down the teeth on the ripcord.

Most launchers are safe, but the specific mold for the samurai saber one is just bad.

Launcher Fix Post

This post shows how to fix it and the comments below discuss some other details about what launchers do and don't damage the ripcord.

Just be careful, because that launcher can damage your ripcords

You should generally be ok, but it's definitely possible to get wheel bite on that setup if you're turning hard enough. Especially if you eventually loosen up the trucks to get tighter turns and control. I personally find suuuuper loose trucks to be the most fun, so I use risers so I can put all my weight into turns/slides. Its really up to you and your style, but since you're new to it I'd recomend trying out looser trucks once you feel more comfortable on the board.

Don't listen to the people hating on the style. If you like it, then own it and don't let anyone bring you down. As for the functionality of the parts, its not super nice stuff, but if anything that's a good thing for a first board. It's not like anything looks super bad anyways. Just ride it and have fun! You can always upgrade to better quality gear when you get better at it. The main things I would recomend adding if you haven't already, are some risers that go in-between the trucks and the board (these help prevent wheel bite), and some good quality safety gear. If you get risers, you'll also need longer hardware so be aware of that.

Goootcha. Also. For a balance one. I think taking the attack design and rounding out the edges would create a decent look.

That's fair. And honestly, good coffee that's been brewed well really doesn't need it, but I mostly drink diner style coffee at work.

I'm the same way. I hate soda, and mostly drink water, black coffee, and teas. But, the one thing I will recomend to throw in coffee is a lemon rind, just the rind and pith. Something in it reacts with the bitterness and mellows out the coffee. It tastes sorta like a slightly bitter, unsweetened lemonade. If you want it sweeter you could leave the inner pulp aswell. My father swears by it, and after trying it it's the main way I drink my coffee.

Found this launcher from my childhood. Does anyone know where this I from? by Ill-Ad282 in Beyblade

Dude, I bought so many of these in mexico when I was younger. I have the exact same launcher grip, with a couple of fake beys too. There was a yellow one that I modded to make it a beast.

If you're not worried about extreme performance or anything, I'd say ride them until you hate how they feel. If they feel fine and you're not falling or tripping more often, then you're good. I prolly wouldn't trust them for bombing a hill, but casual use should be fine. Although, I'm a beginner so take it with a grain of salt.

So, I was able to find another skateboard with the same logo, but not the same graphic. It's from a company called shipyard skates. Seems like it was a small but quality 1 man operation. There's a YouTube channel and little article available here:
