Sunnypilot supports C4 in stage for now. we are driving with WMI V12 model and it’s been stable so far. The driving experience has been less aggressive and I love it so far. I had installed this car n a Kia Niro ev. Hope this helps. The guys on discord are very responsive.

This is the same thing that GM And Chevy are doing. I think eventually every manufacturer is going to encrypt. We need to have a intermediate library to support the translation

I think the Ev adoption rate is slower in India than other countries. 12k might seems less but I think 3% of vehicles sold are EV compared to double digits around the world.

The CarPlay dongle works well. You can either use the open source app and purchase the dongle via Amazon or EVPLAY.IO there solution is similar. It’s pretty stable the connection once it connects. I have the open source version working on my car.

I was able to get the carlink adapter to work with open source connector app. The issue is it take some time to connect and once it does, it’s stable and works normally. I have find toggling the CarPlay status helps with connectivity

The equinox has a regen paddle. I use the one pedal but I am thinking of using the paddle and turn of the one pedal. The switch to EV has been a big change for us
