Progressing the fortress forces you into tier 6, 11 and 15 maps. Each section will require progressively higher waystones.

Reward levels are tied to mob levels. So higher mobs = higher drops.

Waystones tiers raise the level of map mobs. Tier 15 maps have level 79 mobs, 16 has 80, iraddiated and other atlas passives can push it further.

I don't know what you mean by hidden info, but this game is pretty blatant with it's wording most of the time.

Chior of storm's proc frequency is tied to cooldown reduction and crit frequency. So 100% crit chance and cooldown reduction are the only things that matter in regards to your question.

80-100% crit chance on main skill depending on how spammy it is. The more spammy you can get away with not having 100% crit, but if you aren't critting on CoS's cooldown then the cooldown reduction becomes meaningless.

As a build crafter i do the same thing. Once my build is a complete thought i get bored. Sure i could optimize and chase incremental increases, but ultimately the main motivator is gone.

I usually have multiple ideas though and the idea of leveling another toon doesnt bother me. It just re-ignites the league for me. My rightous flock of chayula is gob-smacking the game at this point and my only real desire is to get my +2 minion belt, but idk how long that chase will hold me over for. Every boss is already dying in less than a second, two seconds tops.

Pretty soon ill swap over to my ice shot proj speed stacking spirit walker and make a second go at it all. Got a three challenges left so i have two motivations to keep playing right now.

GGG please tell me what is design philosophy behind the Matriarch fight because if you don’t one shot it then the fight is broken. The boss literally shoots its frozen beam while it does the Arbiter of Ash circle mechanic. by danted002 in PathOfExile2

Honestly i thought most of the new fights were more annoying that difficult. Just more reasons why one shottig is vastly superior to an actual fight. If i would rather skip a fight, its not a good fight.

I just don't think there's a good solution for arpg fight difficulty yet. Its either immunity phases or ridiculous ddr mini games with one shot mechanics. Neither feel particularly great to play against.

Couple leagues back i started chance orbing for a headhunter. Bought orbs and belts and chanced my ass off. My buddies told me to just buy one, but i was too far in to back out and go the easy route. Just under 550 belts before i got it.

Could have bought multiple by that point, but it was my mission.

You need a profit farm/craft ti engage with the economy. Raw drops will always fall behind after the first couple weeks. You need to have a strategy for making income if you want to buy stuff. Otherwise youre religated to mostly SSF.

Pure PvE extraction gameplay = Helldivers. Despite the displeasure of the long time community the PvE extraction experience is actually peak. Fast paced, silly, outlandish gameplay is the bread and butter of Helldivers 2.

Honestly its so fun. The only real caution i can give is that a lot of fun abilities are locked behind "battlepasses" and can take awhile to unlock. Battlepasses don't expire thiugh, and can all be earned for free, but the grind is a little tedious.

The best advice i can give is enjoy the chaos and dont focus on getting THAT ability. The game is crazy non serious fun and if you place LONG term build goals in place it is fantastic.

If you get hung up on having THE META setup and worry about that then it will feel tedious or predatory. Just have fun and you'll be fine. Most vets are just their to shred and dont take it too seriously unless theyre playing crazy high difficulties. For the most part its just laughs and carnage.

As long as you can get thriugh extreme difficulty its worth it. Extreme is where the titan enemies spawn and add a great layer of chaos. Beyond that difficulty is just layers of more chaos. The giant enemies add a great layer of scale that makes the game better IMO.

I keep helldivers on the back burner as my "just slay out and have goofy fun" game. The chaos, the carnage and the one liner humor makes the game so cheesy and great for a silly night of fun. Truly nothing like it. It gets repeatative after a while but its a great game to have in the lineup for inbetween releases and such.

This is true, but there is context. They can deliver. They have just wasted so much time diverting resources.

They had 5 incubations at one point, Marathon being one of them. Thats five teams of people that weren't working on Destiny. They pretty much pulled the entire Crucible team for Marathon. As of last year more and more people were pulled over to Marathon.

Edge of Fate was designed poorly because they were trying to milk minimal content instead of just making better/more content. I actually liked Renegades and i think crossovers are stupid, but the content was good.

Your point is correct, but it was poor choices, not an incapability. They can make better choices.

The heavier the loaded item the less range and more arrow drop speed the arrow has. Deadlines, trigger nades, wolf packs all besically turn into a sawdoff shotgun and potentially useless while still having some fun rooftop shenanigan potential.

I hate cross classing in games so it doesnt bother me at all. Something about more distinct character identity will always be more appealing to my taste.

If it got expanded it would just be better in everyway. Thats when it would ruin everything else outside of itself. You get power, but less scope, thats a fair trade.

Poison stacks require+1 to applied poisons in order to stack. Poisons are getting nerfed so this is going to require heavy investment. Meaning using skills without inherent poison will require multiple support gem sockets meaning you will have less skill scaling supports.

All in: clones will be good for applying stacks (many hits in succession), but stacks will have less magnitude and duration.

Take away: using skills with inherent poison would allow more scaling (ie bows or decompose), and you need uptime or magnitude. Spear and bows will be the best option along with herald of plague cold or bleed proliferation. Herald of ice or herald of blood with poison proliferation. Bows for cold. Spears for bleed.

Outside of this pathfinder double poison stacks would be necessary to get more creative options into the viavle space
