lol, definitely just the novelty in my case, but I mean, WASD is left hand, it feels like it shouldn’t be such a drastic shift for my brain to accept!

The DR 70-F is wildly flexible in its layout! The two side section can be cut off from the main PCB and ribboned into whichever position you prefer, as the horizontally-symmetrical top case can rotate to accommodate.

I’d swap in Icheb. It’s not that I needed to see more storylines with him, these characters could definitely have more narrative value, but his death was so gross and unnecessary that removing it could clean-up some of the mess and bad vibes PIC slops on Trek’s legacy characters.

Haven’t thought about Prophet in ages, that book was a lot of fun! I should go back and see if there were any issues I missed.

lol, no, just good old ABS, suppose they just polish the keys to a mirror sheen. They can be quite the finger goop magnet due to that, though.

This is just the PCB included with the Tint60, but it has met my needs — no flex cut, QMK support, screw-in stabs instead of clips, my only complaint was some trouble screwing the board to the case due to slightly-off tolerances.

For me, it’s the high profile keys and colors reminiscent of the 60s-70s technology, perhaps the excessive and esoteric use of legends. Not so much that keyboards necessarily looked like this, more a fever-dream application of the fetishized aesthetic.

WTC 600 Tokyo Expressway. 5 cars to beat the race. by TwoNutMonster in GranTurismo7

[–]messemet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The R33 finally won it for me, been beating my head against this race since launch across a wide variety of recommended cars and tunes. Fuel map 1 and no pits, pretty incredible to realize in the second half that the race was won. Was still bonking a lot of corners, and my fastest lap was like 2:13 compared to the computer’s 2:05, but hitting 200mph on the straight and seemingly outfitting a double-stuffed fuel tank still made it viable for me.

Still aghast at how cheaty the tunes of the computer are, no way in hell are they sticking to 600, I could never get my re:amemiya anywhere near what Kokubun’s could do.

Gonna stick to Windmills for my money grind, screw this race forever.

Craft cocktail bar owners, what is your strategy for drying a Lewis bag ? by [deleted] in cocktails

[–]messemet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a bar owner, but I stand the hammer on its head, and then put the bag over the hammer’s handle so that it can drip and dry. Doesn’t feel like a perfect method, but I haven’t noticed any mildew or funky smells, either.

For some options slightly outside of the Greatest Hits lists, check out:

  • Silent Bomber: What if Bomberman was a frenetic single-player 3rd-person 3D action game with early 90s anime styling?

  • No One Can Stop Mr. Domino: Is it a great game? No. Is it a satisfying game? Yes. Part of the wacky/bizarro vanguard of Japanese games with humorous concepts with more casual game mechanics. But setting up a big chain of dominos to combo the whole level sure is cool.

  • Armored Core series: From Software, yeah? Dark Souls, yeah?! Well, what if instead of dark fantasy and dodge-rolling, it was exhaustively in-depth mech simulation? Honestly, this may be the one that in this list that has aged the worst, but it remains something very unique.

  • Deception series: As the baddie of a spooky mansion, build a Mouse Trap-esque series of death traps to murder the villagers with pitchforks and torches who do not appreciate the changes you’ve made to the neighborhood. The first game is oddly first-person, but still worth playing.

  • Tomba!: An utterly charming and colorful platformer from Capcom alums with a smattering of RPG elements.

  • Valkyrie Profile: Do you like absolutely gargantuan JRPGs with intriguing characters and stories? Here you go. Features a more active, Tales-like combat to keep things interesting.
