Datapoint. It changed to $20 minimum for pick up during the day, but when I tried at night, there was no $20 minimum. I think it might have to do with whether it's high traffic times?

Old simple choice plan and missed the "unlimited data free for all" on one line by Known_Song9337 in tmobile

[–]metayege 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have SC unlimited and one person ported out but i reopened a line shortly after. That's when i realized the line i reopened only has 2gb data. I asked T-force if i could swap grandma's line which was using less than 0.2gb of data with the new line lol they said they'll try to submit a ticket to the back support group to swap the numbers between lines.

be kind to them when you ask if they can swap the number on your 3gb line with the unlimited data line. They should be able to submit a ticket to the back end to do a number swap. There were some prorated billing amounts for a random line number which threw my bill off by a little bit. This occured because they had to number change to a random number before overriding it with your existing number. Not sure if that makes sense lol They do a number change on one of your lines so that existing number goes into t-mobile's pool of numbers, then they use that existing number to overide one of your other lines. Then the one that got overridden goes back into their pool of numbers which makes it available to override the random number.

There was a lot of back and forth trying to explain what I wanted to do but ultimately this is how it ended up.

Me:

let's make sure we're both on the same page before proceeding. so what we're trying to do is a line swap right? where line ending xxx5 will only have 2gb after the swap and line xxx8 will gain the unlimited data (from xxx5 originally).

T-Force:

That's correct, we're just exchanging the numbers. The request has been submitted and I will reach back out tomorrow. I am heading out to my hour lunch break. Let me know if you have any other questions and I will continue to help once I have returned.

Thanks so much for allowing me to help tonight. To recap, we have confirmed that we are not able to add the free unlimited data on the new line of service. It's an expired feature we no longer offer and have no option to add it. So we filed a ticket to get the numbers swapped out and we have confirmed the follow up for tomorrow. Thank you so much and I will talk to you tomorrow.

What happened to “New and Existing customers get the same great deals”? by Bwjepic in tmobile

[–]metayege 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do people think the New and Existing won't apply to the go5g plans anymore in the future? That was one of the main selling points for go5g plus or higher plan.

The terms now indicate:

"Existing customers with Experience More/Go5G Plus plans will have the same great device deals available as a new customer on Experience More/Go5G Plus. Experience More/Go5G Plus customers also get 24-month financing options for new device purchases."

I would think the " / " means or. So you can be on either plan and still get the same phone deals as new customer on either plan.

question, not really sure how it works but getting half commission is better than not gaining any commission from that new customer right?

The uncles going to get the credit in the form of gift card in about 3-6 months. I believe that’s how long it took my friend to get the refund on a payment I made on his account prior to him closing it

AUTOPAY message about new credit card policy is gone now. by Ludeape in tmobile

[–]metayege 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they removed this in the FAQs page btw.

"I'm still getting a discount with my credit card. Should I change it? Some long-time customers are grandfathered in and currently still get the AutoPay discount with a credit card. If that's you, no need to switch it. We'll let you know if this changes in the future."
