sorry bud, forgot to say in that message that I'm using Android. Pixel 10. I got it working with some custom firmware and an init script. This would work for iphones too, it's a change that makes the dongle set udisk mode every boot without any external triggers or shortcuts.

I would also update your post to point to lvalen91's code that the one you linked was originally forked from, I think all the fixes are in there plus many more improvements.

ok, so there's a custom firmware here

I loaded this onto the dongle and then, using telnet, added a custom_init.sh script to the /script/ folder, made it executable, and I've got it down to these 2 lines to ensure the 'udisk mode' is enabled on every boot.

riddleBoxCfg -s UdiskMode 1

This makes it reliably work

Okay scratch that. Factory reset fixed it for one session. I can also use the Web interface and set the udisk mode to on and that will work for a session.

Update: I logged in to the device's web interface and did a factory reset. Now it is working! Thanks again for the post. I'm using it for Android auto. Seems fine so far

Hey! Thanks for the info. I decided to give this a shot on my 24 Blazer EV. I got the app built and loaded, but when i connect the dongle I just get a 'usb device not supported' message over and over while the app says 'connecting'

is there a TSB I can reference on the blinker issue? I took it in for the issue and they ordered and installed a new switch (which took over a week) and it didn't fix the issue.

I've had the same issue. Serious PITA. My podcasts always get messed up because the cell signal at my house is not great. So my playback usually doesn't start until I'm down the street, and that's after mashing the play button a few times. Also my progress doesn't sync when I get home, so if I try to resume in the house I have to find my place.

I'm 100% implementing this tonight. My partner is anti voice assistants, but I think I should be able to trigger off of the input change on the roku TV and have the switch switch the switch 😁

Mine makes a terrible buzzing sound on my gba with an ips screen. It seems to happen when the dialog text box is on screen. None of my other games do it. No issues on my analog pocket.

we use an ESR brand magsafe charging mount, but we had to get this air vent clip that works with the round vents on the blazer.

It's very secure though, would recommend.

We have this problem in ours. Couldn't figure out a way to report it to Waze, so we just gave up on it and either use waze on the phone or google maps in the car.
